It's VR crunch time commanders, and I need your help !

no one has mentioned this so far so I'm going to step in. If you like combat and flying airplanes then try warthunder (in sim mode not arcade ). It is my second goto game next to elite and absolutely love it. I am real pilot in real life and can tell you it is the closest thing to feel like flying you can get in your living room. Gajin have done fantastic job for VR in the sense of getting smooth gameplay with great fps. Others such as Il2 and DCS not so much.

I played tons of Warthunder prior to Elite! Thanks for the heads up! I did pick up Aero Fly which has a VR friendly menu system and mode. Haven't dived in yet though.

So lots to think about here Wolfhammer!

i dont get on with WT in VR, makes me a bit screwy... (tho i have not tried in 6 months) the word on the street is IL2 is good too.

Even in sim mode, I find War Thunder a little arcade-like. Gajin bought rights to the original IL2 engine and heavily modified that. It's a 12 year old engine. Il2 BOS and newer theaters is the creation of merging 1C and 777 studios(Rise of Flight). The FM is excellent and the recently added VR is the best in a flightsim ATM, imo. I would say the best FM of a WW2 aircraft is likely DCS's P51 since they own a real one and it is the bases for what they call their PFM or professional flight model.

I just watched some vids of the new IL-2 BoS VR update. Has anyone played that?

I know this discussion drifted off of what VR Wolfhammer should buy, but that discussion only goes so far right. I'm gonna start a new VR Flight Sim thread.
