Brian May is an astrophysicist too, so he'd be perfect for Elite He's a visiting researcher here at Imperial College actually, though I've never seen him on campus :-/

Another possible option is Paul Ruskay who did the incredible, memorable, and highly innovative soundtracks to the Homeworld series of games and more recently Strike Suit Zero.

I think it's probably because of him that I can no longer imagine flying around in deep space without a proper sārangī accompaniment.
