Automated hatcheries

  • Hatcheries can now be automated to more easily manage dinosaur populations. Park managers can set a target population number which the hatchery will aim to maintain
  • Use the automation button on the hatchery to enable it
  • Dinosaurs can be released via the hatchery door or delivered to another enclosure
  • Available in all hatchery types; land, aviary and lagoon

I was wondering if anyone notice: are the automated hatcheries a feature intended for custom challenge and sandbox gameplay?

I did a little test on opening the official Southwest USA challenge mode in Jurassic difficulty, the automate feature is missing.

I have a question for all fans and players: what do you say about having automated hatcheries available in campaign, Chaos Theory, and challenge mode (both official and custom) to deal with the aging population?

I thought automated hatcheries would be more economical than keeping the synthesis and incubation teams. There is a possibility that genetic modifications may be forgone in favor of profitability.
