With Summer Game Fest 2025 only 2 weeks away, I am getting hopeful we might be hearing something soon.

Jurassic World Rebirth is just around 6 weeks away, and SGF would be a great platform to announce anything Jurassic related while the interest for the upcoming film is so high. Plus, I really want to sink my teeth into whatever Frontier has been cooking for the next Evolution game.

I noticed Frontier was very quiet during all these rumors about the game releasing in 2026 because I kind of figured that if they had not confirmed it then it would have been true but I think they were waiting for the confirmation by Rockstar to announce the Grand Theft Auto 6 release because now that we know it's in 2026 yeah that's going to be utter suicide for any developer to release a game alongside Grand Theft Auto VI, so I'm happy to know that it is definitely not in 2026 cuz that would be utter Madness for Frontier to do especially with Grand Theft Auto being their biggest threat to the 3rd games success.

I know because I'm actually planning on buying Jurassic world Evolution 3 hopefully this releases a 2025 and I'm definitely buying Grand Theft Auto 6 myself in may 2026.

It was said on business articles from this month this new game title is coming later this year. It’s probably just not announcing and releasing the way people thought it would.


I think it must be noted these game showcasing events have been used by Frontier only to announce new titles, going further in depth of recently announced titles prior, announce new major expansions (ex: Elite Dangerous Odyssey), and announce major new platform releases. As of now, there’s no indication or implications of there being anything else major for any of their existing games besides a new title announcement.

Yep... same trailer leaked earlier... still looks cool.

On a sad, but not surprising side note, a picture said to be from the steam page states the bases game features "over 80 animals" and that "75 will be breedable". Which confirms roster cuts... but also seems to imply all the hybrids will return... since being a hybrid seems the most likely reason to disable breeding and there's only seven in all, which would make the base roster 82.

Other news: apparently the Deluxe Edition is available for pre-order, and it comes with the following:
  • Protoceratops
  • Guanlong
  • Concavenator... well that's one cut confirmed.
  • Thanatosdrakon... sigh... another cut that honestly should have stayed cut...

I believe that all the previous species will be back, they may add them via updates over time. Stay calm, guys. I really want to see the return of Utahraptor and Diplodocus. I can imagine the male Utahraptor with vibrant plumage and his young as well. The mighty Diplodocus defending the young with his tail would be cool!
