Sorry to hear that, it looks like it might be a good bit of kit. It's all down to if it works or not on any given rig, time will tell.
Delivery day is set for tomorrow, but I'm out early morning. Just hope I'll be back in time, or it will be a trip out to collect on Saturday.
Well, I'd say that EyeX is interesting, however, the functionality in my case is underwhelming. Just imagine if installing some drivers would also perform a complete reset of Windows.
EDIT: And I think this pretty much is the answer to my question:
Before Infinite Screen Extension can be used to augment your games, we need to ensure that your games have written their configuration files to your computer. Do this by making sure you have started each game you want to use with Infinite Screen Extension at least once before proceeding. We also recommend that you configure your controllers in the game before you start using Infinite Screen Extension, as any resetting or defaulting of the controller configuration will disable Infinite Screen Extension.
So this definitely makes Tobii EyeX useless for me. Well, TrackIR has proved to be a great solution. As for EyeX it seems like a nice idea with a bad implementation.
EDIT 2: I've performed a simple test with Windows Services. Turning off Tobii Service restores the frame rate to the normal one in borderless and windowed modes, turning it on immediately causes the drop of the frame rate to 20 FPS. Fullscreen mode is not affected.
