In your control options you have the following section:

The "Lateral Thrust Axis" is the analogue control, the "Thrust Left" and "Thrust Right" are the digital controls.

In your setup you have the "Thrust Left" and "Thrust Right" bound, but you should instead bind the "Lateral Thrust Axis". This will give you much finer control of your lateral thrusters.

Cutting in - love what you've created - genius.

But are you saying we must leave the THRUST LEFT, THRUST RIGHT blank?

Could you show how this must look for a T flight HOTAS X. The ED control setup is, IMO, horribly clunky.

Thanks

If you want to use analogue controls then you need to set "Lateral Thrust Axis". You could set up digital controls as well, but that's separate.

I don't have a HOTAS X so can't show you exactly how it would look in the configuration screen, I'm afraid.

I did not know that - thank you very much.

Hello and thank you for your great tool.

Unfortunately it doesn't work for me, I get the message that an unsupported controller has been detected.

I use a T Flight Stick X and an ED Tracker. I suppose the ED Tracker might be the problem?

Do you have a reference that I can use to take a look at your configuration? It's the 6 character string on the webpage after you have submitted your configuration.

Now I have it. pletcl

I played a bit with it and it doesn't seem to be a problem with the ED Tracker. I can generate sheets for all possible settings except Ship Control. This seems to hint to my flight stick x.

Have anyone played with steam controller? Its better than the m/kb? I find mouse and keyboard responsive and precise, but i kinda get confused with "non flying keys" such as fds, ship lights, scb, hs, chagf... I mostly play at night and my keys aren't lighten up. And also because there are so much comands and need to swap fingers to select some of those... So I apreciate to know if the steam controller is good to play elite. (hotas is really out my budget. Too much expansive for just one game).

Please could you fill out the attached template with details of your bindings? I can then use this information along with the data in your bindings file to provide support for this stick in the webpage. Thanks.

Thrustmaster Hotas IV controller reported as unsupported reference ewvsys

Please could you fill in the template below for your bindings, and let me know your bindings reference in the webpage? I can use that information to add support for the HOTAS 4. Thank you.

I've got a weird issue with the CH Pro Pedals and the HOTAS generator. It's probably a cosmetic issue as the pedals work fine.

When I was using the Pro Pedals without the CH Control Manager I found that the right pedal shows as the Y axis and the left as the X axis so on the generated image I see the pedals but the SRV speed axis shows as being on the left pedal. For that reason I installed the control software. In the binds file the device shows as CHProPedals

If I use the CH Control Manager and map the X axis to the right pedal and the Y axis to the left pedal the generated image shows as a CH throttle and the device in the binds file shows as 068EC010

XBox One controller (came with the Rift). Uploaded my binds and it comes back with this:

You have a device that is not supported at this time. Please report details of your device by following the link at the bottom of this page supplying the reference "fbuymn" and we will attempt to add support for it.

Hope that helps and even though it didn't work for me, thanks jgm for doing all this.

Awesome tool, I wish I had stumbled across it years ago! I use a Microsoft Extreme 3D Pro, a CH Pro Throttle, and an Ideazon Fang (now owned by Steel Series) game pad. It didn't recognize the gamepad, and said to report it here with the reference "qifnna".

Microsoft do seem to have a plethora of IDs for what appears to be the same device. I've added your one to the list of XBox controller aliases so give it another shot and see if it works now.
