Unsupported Device (joystick): VKB Gladiator (non-pro) https://goo.gl/e7wkvd
I also have an X-55 Rhino throttle.

I hope this is enough information, let me know if you need more. Thanks!

I've taken a look at the Gladiator, and have a few questions. Does the shift button work as a shift in Elite: Dangerous, or is it just considered another button? Also, does the mode switch work? Is the thumb hat a mouse (analogue) or switch (digital)?

ThrustMaster T.Stick HOTAS 4

Please could you fill in the template below for your bindings, and let me know your bindings reference in the webpage? I can use that information to add support for the HOTAS 4. Thank you.

I've got a HOTAS 4 and can help with the bindings. I uploaded my HOTAS 4 bindings file as reference eirwul. As expected, it's not currently working.

The setup of the HOTAS 4 is essentially identical to the older HOTAS X. I've modified a copy of my bindings file, replacing "ThrustMasterHOTAS4" with "ThrustMasterTFlightHOTASX", to fake the older stick. This is uploaded as reference vtsftp. While the stick model is wrong, the bindings are displayed correctly.

Hopefully this helps. Let me know if there's anything more I can do.

Thanks for this information. I've used it to set up the HOTAS4 so please give it a go and let me know if anything looks incorrect.

The shift button does work solely as a shift, but it applies to the buttons on the grip not on the base. The hat is analog.

The pedals you have appear to be the Cessna pedals.

....having actually checked under the desk, you're right - that was the Cessna pedals which were wired up at the time, not the Pro Flight ones at all.
Sorry, my mistake. Half-decent image for the Cessna pedals here: http://www.neweragames.co.th/periph...t_Cessna_Rudder_Pedals/Pro_Flight_CRP_004.jpg

(also hope you didn't miss my replay with the bindings for the CH throttle on the previous page - as I'm new my posts don't show up until a moderator approves them, so we may have ended up on the new page before you saw, potentially)

Thank you for pointing it out, I did indeed manage to miss this. I've added in the configuration so it should now behave.

Thanks again for filling this out, and letting me know I'd missed it.

I noticed that the modifiers are numbered and colored in the order in which they appear in the .binds file. This means that these assignments will be different after a modification that changes this order. Is it possible to change the scanning algorithm to do a two pass scan, so that at the first pass all modifiers are collected and then assign a number/color to them from low to high (JOY_2, JOY_3, etc.) Also, due to manual changes to the file, I found that modifier [JOY_2] followed by [JOY_3] is interpreted as another modifier compared to [JOY_3] followed by [JOY_2], so maybe some sorting in between to get rid of that? I needed to do manual changes to the .binds file because ED did not allow me to press the required sequence (for instance the key that is assigned to BACK/EXIT cannot be assigned with a shift key to some other function).

With the advent of Horizons there are even more bindings to remember, so it's a good time to generate a reference sheet for your own customised configuration.

The reference sheet generator has been updated and is available at http://www.mcdee.net/elite/ It takes a copy of your custom binds file and generates reference sheets for you for both keyboard and HOTAS. Details of how to use it are available on the site.

If you find any problems with the files that are generated, would like another product supported, or have any general comments then please put them here. Thank you, and I hope that you find this useful.

This is really awesome!

I took a look at this and am not sure where these buttons come in to play. Are they push buttons on the throttle, or are they buttons that are pushed by the throttle arms at the bottom of their range? It looks like the latter, but that seems pretty weird to me (not that I'm a flight sim person so perhaps not so weird in that world).

Is it possible to generate a similar output by using Saitek's .pr0 profile files?

It's theoretically possible to create something given a Saitek profile, plus the Elite binds, but I don't have any knowledge of the Saitek software outside of a very cursory examination a year or two back and it wouldn't be simple. In addition, the Saitek software appears to allow for macros, conditionals and other re-writes that would make it a pretty complex affair. I'm afraid that it's not something that I have the time to tackle.
