"should"...can we have some measure of confidence on this please, or some indication of why this has been delayed, and why we think the delay is almost over?

We were told they "should" be shipped by the end of the month in January, then we were told they "should" be shipped by the end of the month in February, and now we're told they "should" be shipped within the next two weeks.

Sorry, but the only date I'll believe now is the one showing on the calendar on the day the box is in my hands.

I have to say... this is so farcical it beggars belief !!

Why can't we be told the facts.. like 'the printing was rubbish so we sent them back' the 'disk in box had nothing on it so we re-wrote it' etc

Yeah.. where ma' stuff? :p Hey how about as a way to make amends, DB has to sign each box set and item sent out to us backers. That would be nice :D

I doubt that DBOBE would want to sign c.6500 boxed sets (and items) - and that's only the KS backers - there're probably over 13,000 taking into account the Backers' App purchases - plus the £10 boxed set upgrades available in the store. ;)

A conspiracy theorist might suppose that FD thought they'd get away without the boxed sets once they'd made the physical copy of the game immediately obsolete by cancelling offline mode :p

Does this shipping apply to purchased box upgrades too?

I didn't expect it to take so long when they were actually being sold in the store, even as a pre-order. I'm not in a rush for it or anything, but it seems odd to sell a bunch of boxed copies and then have it take this long to get them out.

I agree, the communication from FD regarding backers physical rewards has been nebulous at best. It's almost as if these rewards are an after thought with a 'we'll get around to it' attitude, when in reality these should have been a priority and sent to backers soon after the official release.

I for one would like an explanation and an apology from FD as to why we have had to wait 3 months after release before we get our physical rewards....

Well I'm back after being banned for a week for questioning mods...
Anyway my MCOL gets filed tomorrow as I'm suing FD for being shysters.
I see in my absence FD have announced an Xbox version- nice move given you haven't finished PC version yet or released Mac. Version .
Anyway soon this won't be any of my concern and I'll leave you all in peace.

They haven't even delivered the Mercenary edition digital extras, like the artbook. Do you guys really think you'll ever see your physical goods?

The digital stuff was promised on release in December, lol. Frontier is pure amateur hour.

To those who aren't FD shills I suggest you take action if you are not happy as it is clear FD will continue to ignore Backers now they have our money.
My issues with FD are wider than just the physical rewards or lack thereof.

Well that is it for me.
I've had my£100 refunded on the basis that I sent a letter before action stating they have failed to deliver the physical rewards or provide a DRM free copy.

We have been given dates time and time again, I personally am getting a bit annoyed at the fact we have to keep asking about this.
I messaged you directly roughly in the middle of February Michael and you replied that they would be sent at the end of Feb.
Now that date is looking like the end of March! The amount of dates we have been given, only for them to come and go is unacceptable really.

3 months after release, and still nothing.
Really poor show from FD imho.
