Krait vs. Python - Power Distributor

Whatever man, I'll file this as a bug and let FD sort it out. If it turns out that it's by design, fine, I'll live with it. If not, then good, as it should be toned down, IMO.

Of all the things they could spend time on, this is a VERY silly one.
Even if it's not intended ship behaviour, this whole thread is silly.

Now if the Krait was conferred an unfair advantage, I'd be one of the first to speak up.
As it stands, they did an exceptional job with the Krait.
There is no problem here.

Lol, grow up.

Okay, you know what, have your fun with the broken ship. Enjoy it while it lasts. Not going to report it, and letting a mod close this thread.

You do realize that trying to argue that the Krait is "broken" or "OP" based on the only area in which it excels, and ignoring all of the other ways that it is inferior to the Python, is not exactly a coherent argument? Closing your own thread because players disagree with you is the forum equivalent of a kid taking their ball and going home because they are losing a game.

So you won't mind if I report it, then? I didn't have to open a discussion in the first place. Some of these inane answers make me wish I'd actually do it, just to see those affected break down into the most pathetic QQ.

Practice what you preach, will ya? You are vehemently against toning the ship down. For the stupidest reasons.

I am not vehemently against anything in this thread, except for fallacious non-arguments.
That is being a grown up.

My reasoning is sound, and I'm not the one using language like:
"Would it kill anyone...?

LOL

Grown-ups don't overuse "LOL" in every other post, just FYI.

You shouldn't need to do either of those things. Unnecessarily reporting a post and closing your thread are not actions that you should need to resort to just because someone disagrees with you. If your goal in starting this thread is to have an actual discussion about game balance and understand why the Krait has such a good ability to maintain boost, that's exactly what happening, you just don't seem to like what you're being told by other players why fly both the Krait and Python. If you simply wanted to manufacture a narrative where other players "agree" with your suggestion that the Krait is somehow "broken", that is not happening and is not going to happen because the Krait is an extremely well-balanced and well-designed ship that doesn't require any adjustments whatsoever in comparison to the Python.

Yet no one gave an answer as to why no other ship in the game can maintain their engines at full with 2 pips in the engines while boosting like a chimp on crack..

The Python comparisons I get.

Oz, Bob is right. It's all about vectors. If there's no noticeable agility boost, it could permaboost with 1 pip for all I care. It immediately becomes a non issue. The balance problem would come about if it could maintain its boost agility advantage (as stated, for purposes of fa off orbiting adjustments and direction changes) that it would become more of an issue. It is kinda weird that it has such a low cost, and it may still be an oversight, but I haven't flown it to be able to judge myself, and I know Bob knows what he's taking about.

Try this and tell me what you find... Get in a python, put 2 pips in engines, full pitch, then boost. You get a huge temporary agility boost, try it on the krait, how did it feel?
