Hope for Kahina being a power?

It will never happen according to Wagar himself:

As far as I am aware it was never considered by Frontier. I haven’t been asked about it. I can confirm she won’t be a power in the future however.

Q. Senator Kahina has been mentioned in the GalNet articles, is she going to continue to feature?
Senator Kahina remains alive and well, but she will not be featuring in Galnet after July 2015 unless the situation with respect additional licensing changes (see first question). I have provided Lady Kahina’s profile here for reference if you would like to speculate on what happened to her.

No, she is not.

Wow, thanks for that, I have missed it somehow.So the only interesting character(for me at least) is gone for good I see.

Just reading those GalNet entries, looks to me like she is planning a venture into the unknown again. Maybe she is travelling with her explorer companion again? (I really need to read the book again)

Either way... If she became a power, she would get my pledge.

Edit: Just caught up on everything, including Drew's comments. Shame... But the Children of Raxxla looks interesting. I'll read that pretty soon.

The Children of Raxxla thing looks interesting and I will check them out. One thing I liked in the novella they did was mention covert operations, if CoR do become some kind of player power I'd love to see PP expanded to include more covert stuff and the "discovering of secrets we all know are out there". PP definitely needs more and I'd love to see missions tie in to it, would be cool if mission boards had missions now and again that was based on my PP allegence.

EDIT: Whoa, Drew is getting to write The official Elite Dangerous Novel, Elite Dangerous: Premonition!
I was really out of the loop.Seems like we'll see more of Kahina and it will be canon :D
