Latest stream has more dislikes than likes... FD are you listening?

The Hochdeutsch expression is Geraffel.
See here: https://www.dict.cc/german-english/Geraffel.html
From there you can delve into the various dialects, where the first e is dropped and it's just pronounced G'raffel.
But the actual noun is still Geraffel.
Never heard that before. I think it is only used in Germany this way. As so many words. An Austrian would rather cut his tongue out than saying something like Quark for example.
We are teaching Graffel.

Let me weigh in on the whole 'thumbs down' thing.

Is it demoralising? Speaking personally, yes - especially when I put so much time into these streams on a weekly basis, and try to gather what information I can to share with you all. I'm sure the rest of the team feel the same way.

But that said, that's what the system is there for, if you are unhappy, I don't blame you for using the thumbs down button - I prefer that to personal attacks 😅
Hey @Zac Cocken ,
I'm quite sure people is not putting thumbs down for the content of your streams. You guys spend time to prepare them and you're recently engaging a lot with the community.
This is really appreciated, at least by many.
This is probably the worst period for the game, but maybe the best for the CM's presence in the community. I've never seen so much CM presence in the past years.

The problem is that you are in the front line and you get all the garbage because of the current status of the game, which is not your fault.
Many people are aware of this.
FDEV (management and whoever is taking decisions) made a lot of mistakes and this is reflecting now in the community disappointment so we all come to you to complain because you're the only ones we can talk to.

You're doing a good job so please hang on and think that a lot of people are actually appreciating what you're doing.

That explains a lot, especially why you fall so blindly into the open-only PP trap. Is there really no one from the old development team who could have warned you? Given the current disaster of exploding expectations in this community, do you really think it's a good idea to even mention this before you've thought about whether and how you'll eventually realise it?

But thank you for this insightful information. (y)
But it's not just that they're new to the job. They haven't even read the more recent epic threads in the forum in which some people make repetitive demands for more targets and other people explain why the latest wheeze won't work. Why else would they decide to go for a stroll in a minefield?

I agree that the CMs have been dumped right in it.

It doesn't take too much research to note that the streams with the greatest level of interest are those which talk at some level about future developments.

Perhaps CMs could label each successive stream as 'Ship interiors: part X', start each stream with "We have no plans at the moment" and then carry on with the planned stream and see how that goes ;)

Its history repeating, really. Paige and Will rode out into the firestorm if I recall week in, week out.

A post that contains no original content. That's not what I'd expect from a Frontier representative at all.

We can finally have a means to shoot down fifth column pilots and bots before they cripple any more of the powers, we can have actual meaningful PVP besides Ganking and arranged fights, and give Powerplay its own unique flavor and Niche. And I am not even a PvPer! I WANT PP systems and instances to be more crowded, to put me more at risk of hostile players shooting me down or noticing what sneaky things we're up to; because everyone agrees the best moments in the PP community comes from encountering enemy commanders, like the heavily contested battles for the Mbambiva bubble. We I already love PP in its half developed state, but with this, it will be PERFECT!!! THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING OUR PLEAS FOR OOPP!!!!

Open Only Powerplay is not a solution to 5C. If you have to have a number of your own commanders pledge to an Enemy Power to kill commanders pledged to your own Power then there is something wrong with the mechanics of the game. Also it would only possibly help Powers who use their headquarters for hauling Preparation and/or Expansion Power Commodities which not all Powers do. They need to remove loss making spheres and change how turmoil works; you can have Weaponised Expansions without using the current economics model.

Frontier can do what they like with PowerPlay as long as they transfer the PowerPlay weapons/modules to the Human Tech Broker so I can stop having to stockpile the blasted things in storage ships!!!

(It would also eliminate Aisling Duval's Prismatic advantage, if you care about such things.)

FD need to stop with 5C but also make better ways for Powers to hurt each other away from weaponised expansions.

They should make ALL the Powerplay Modules available by pledging to any Power. At the start of the game you pick the Power you want, then whenever you need a Powerplay module you buy it for an amount of Merits from a Powerplay shop.

I could live with that. But it wouldn't alter the fact that more people are going to sign up for Prismatic Shields than any other module, which must have a distorting effect on PowerPlay.
