I wished that every set was flexicolor, but I didn't know that thatch came in other colors. O support this, even if I wouldn't use it, if only for the benefit of the whole community

It'd be better than nothing at least. Only note I would have with those ones is the option to turn off the "glow" that comes from it, so we could make for more unique rock structures and colors.
Supporting because the lava piles would make great poop piles
This is the kind of creativity that is being surpressed by Frontier Development.
Could you not do that with dark shaded faux rock piles. I know I may have used snow rocks to mimic bird poop on rocks in a penguin habitat.
Never turn down more textures for poo. This is more a "The night after Taco Tuesday" poop we need.
After playing a bit with the new rocks today, I have to say that my initial thoughts still hold. They would be infinitely more useful if made flexicolor.
As it stands, I think they'll be great for volcanic rock (obviously), nocturnal houses, and mixing with other rocks for rock faces but... Making them flexicolor would open up a whole bunch of different options.

Of course. Volcanos are neat, but I can barely think of any examples ingame for which I would make them. If these rocks were flexicolor, indeed the possibilities would be incredible.
I have also been playing with the rocks and although they're ok for specific situations (say, a nocturnal house), I seldom use those situations. If these rocks could be made flexicolor, I would use them everywhere, so that would be much appreciated. Same with the thatch roofs. Flexicolor allows us to have flexizoos!
