FDev is not doing this out of the goodness of their heart.
I know that's how it was framed my the moderater post in this thread (though we got no official announcement), BUT the way they've "come back", with only a literally handful able to get involved before the target is reached and as this one went - 14 people involved and over in about four hours?!
They might as well not exist, if they remain like this!
They're supposed to last the best part of a week and allow thousands of us to play them!
If these returned CGs hadn't been Thargoid only combat I'd be more interested in them, but even IF I was running to them, they'd almost certainly end before I'd shoot one scout!!
(And are currently a waste of effort to even try to get to!)

Well it's AX combat only and the last few such CGs finished before we could blink!
IF it's still going on at the weekend and I've time to prep my ship and travel there, I MIGHT try to get involved, but I'd rather have all the other CGs we used to have with nice high targets and rewards!

so after 2 weeks after CGs they auto completed and are removed from your ship transaction tab...
CGs did not need to reach edit final tier ... No... a successful CG is not required to reach final they can fail to reach final tier ... The expiry date will cause completion..
Due to the expiry date being stupidly long the only way to do 10 now is to have it reach the final tier...
yes lower the date again and nope CGs can fail to reach final tier and still count for achievements...
CGs only need tier 1 to be succesfull...

I got bored the minute I read how these pseudo-CGs work. It's a real shame, because had Frontier brought back proper CGs, even if they were recycled CGs from years past, it could have breathed real life back into Legacy / console Elite.
O and no they started a live CG on tuesday but did not restart a legacy CG will have to wait till thursday likely for the bot to trigger the next legacy CG...
