Lego Asp Scout (UCS minifig 1:96ish scale) update

A bit more fiddling trying to get things looking Asp accurate as possible:

Make sure you have enough Arx for a decent paint job when you're done fiddling!
Some people might say that perhaps its time I prised those bricks out of my fingers...but no! The grand project continues and dare I say.......I really can see the end. Sort of. Possibly.
Anyway:
I was never satisfied with the front corners of the Asp, with so many plate elements merging it lacked crispness. No longer...
This is probably as clean as it can get. Which is Nuke code for it'll be refined next week....
And some fun- Lego are seemingly discontinuing the 'Microfighter' line of mini Lego models...so before that dies I thought....Asp Scout Mini 30 minute model bash:

I concur! Very well done RN...
The great thing too is that (with luck) all the fiddly stuff is out of the way and now its more of the fun detailing. I've refined the back, rear underside wedges and wings so now all I need is about 600 2x2 tiles and a very understanding wife.

Heh! While I could (with some effort if I rebuilt the whole Asp from scratch) make it so the SRV is less scrunched up, in my model the SRV is lowered and then unfolded on the ground- I'm currently making the SRV bay door to also act as a lift for the vehicle (as I get serious eye twitching as to the SRV being sucked up in game).
A winch would give an effect close to how the game behaves and allow you to unfold the SRV outside the SRV bay.
