So the latest galnet where the emperor was found after being missing for a year, I feel like thaat could have been done better. One of the biggest complaints I've heard from some long time players is that most of these storylines you frontier people have worked so hard to write end up as just some fluff on galnet. Perhaps in the future instead of just writing a story and posting it on galnet, you can bring that story to life. For example: The summerland system could have been put on lockdown for 24h and you could spawn in CZ's and other combat related signal sources, you could have convoys with cryo pods (obviously not the emperors but decoys), there could have been a call to arms on galnet, and we could have gone there and fought the Merc corp that took the Emperor. That would have given us something tangible, an event that we can take part in.
My takeaway suggestion is to have more in game events for the community to take part in that are based on the storylines you all are working so hard on to write. Don't just let something big just pass us by as galnet fluff, let us take part in shaping the galaxy around us, it can be done without destroying the story you have written. Peace.
