Let the tree shadows lower the temperature

They do lower the temperature, it just isn't by a huge amount. In my desert park, there's a ring of slightly-less-red under my acacias when viewed on the temperature heat map. It's subtle, but it's there!

Ah, I see now! Interestingly enough, I thought this was a game mechanic but when I hopped in game to check initially, there was absolutely no temperature shift shown on the heatmap - not even the incredibly subtle one that you have shown in your screenshot. There are either other atmospheric nuances that affect this that we're not completely aware of, or it's a bug. It's also possible that tree type affects it, but as I said before when viewing the heatmap with these same trees there were absolutely no temperature shifts underneath them. I hopped in game again today, and the temperature change is now very, very obvious. I think some more clarification from the team on why we're not seeing consistencies would be great. I'm not entirely convinced it's a bug.
