Let's Be Friends! (a little humour)

Came across this while looking back at a game released for the PlayStation in 1999 called Wipeout 3. For those unfamiliar with the game, it's futuristic-based anti gravity racer. AG Systems International is an in-game racing team and this is their marketing logo—

And a brilliant series of games it is too.

Wipeout 2097 is my favourite. The Wipeout Omega Collection on PS4 is brilliant.

And those soundtracks... Just genius.

It would be nice to get some nice hard techno in a very busy CZ or Thargoid encounter, but that's, alas, a forlorn hope.

(And I know it's off-topic--you're referring to the Tharg shape with the "let's be friends" title--but F-Zero had some seriously good in-game music too:)

Team 17's Project X on the Miggy - the main theme tune was one you could listen to all day - must be permanently burned into the minds of every Amiga owner.. Allister Brimble was/is an awesome musician, and my best tracker modules were total pants compared to his stuff...

The best music in Project X tho was a track few people probably ever heard, because it was reserved for the end-game sequence. Like all his tunes, it was catchy as hell, but the problem was you had to complete the game every time you wanted to hear it - and as anyone who's played it will remember, if you can clock it once in a lifetime that's totally something to tell your grandkids.. i think i actually only ever heard it twice, ever.. but could never forget it!

Searched for it on YouTube for years without luck, until i thought to try again just now, and voila, found it! You have to scroll to the end of this vid (at 49:30), but that tune right there was like some super-exclusive white-label.. and to this day, this is the only apparent recording of it anywhere online..
