i chose to go down the path of crime as my "career" in E

, robbing traders of their wares and smuggling enslaved souls. To aid in my piracy interdictions, i made myself up 5 simple macros for ease of communication with my prey.

While still in SC: CMDR. When I interdict you, CUT YOUR ENGINES immediately!

Interdiction instance: Stop NOW or I will open fire!!

If they DON'T comply: Foolish decision Commander. Enjoy your re-buy screen }

If the DO stop: Now ABANDON your cargo if you wish to live

Once they've blown their load: ...I'm touching myself tonight!

State your logic; I am of the opinion the OP was using his macros to taunt/goad the "Player" target into dropping cargo. How is that not PvP?

I'm seldom pirtated these days - I'm currently well out of human space, and well equipped to deal with almost all other human players when capering around the bubble.

My opinion of pirates varies with the time given to respond to demands - I am not that fast on the keyboard, and simply getting out "Hang on!" takes longer than most pirates are willing to wait!

When running cargo in an A-rated Cobra or Clipper, you only need one line when interdicted by any lone player.

When I was pirating in a sidewinder by myself sometime back I started with the phrase

"Stop your engines! I may have a small ship but I have a big..."

followed by a brief delay and then

"... brother waiting in supercruise!"

Some people thought it was funny but I'm not sure why.

I've not really done player piracy
.
But if I did and I was preparing Macros I would ALWAYS tell the target CMDR to lower his landing gear

1. His speed is affected
2. He can no longer Boost away from you
3. He cant jump
4. If he raises his gear its a hostile act as it can only mean he has decided to fight or run

Well, at least you sound a bit more civil than the "I'm gonna pirate yo azz" I recieved once. Maybe not the smartest move to state your intention while the victim, (me, in this case) have the option of not being caught to begin with. He disapperead out of scanner range quite quickly.

NPCs don't listen to my demands. Would be nice if we had some pre-defined messages we could send to NPCs that would cause them to react and respond.

When interdicted: "So, you want free stuff do you? Is mommy proud she raised a pathetic petty thief? Well I'm feeling charitable today so let me shed some light on your shields and deposit some lead into your cargo hold."

Just long enough so that while it's being read I can get the guns out and let the first shots hit just as they suddenly comprehend what they've read. At which point they also notice the Cobra Mk III boosting towards their cockpit, guns blazing.

That doesn't fit

I couldn't even fit attention in, ok well "may" does lol I just ate breakfast give me a break!!

The irony is it didn't lead to destruction whatever the case was because I'm not willing to kill players to get cargo i'm not going to get, if it was an honest one it should have read "flee and you will survive, combat log and i will do my best to destroy"
