I have a bad feeling about all of this.
I will keep my Vulture close to Lugh in case the feds don't get their "formerly known as food" together and elect a new more competent government ( if that's even possible).
I hope nobody kicks me out of the 5% in the spear of dingdong community goal. I can't defend myself, i'm at work ;-)
Thanks again orfeboy and supporters and FREE people of Lugh ( and of course FD ) for the extraordinary experience the last weeks (for me) and months.

The Assistant Logistics Manager on that station is only authorising delivery payments because cancellation of Federal Transit Permit Form N-0-CSH-4-U needs triplicate signatures on each of the following:

Field Catering Expense Reclamation Authorisation Form ILF-MNX-2
Manual Cargo Loader Per Diem Disbursement Cancellation Form BU7-CRK
Low Gravity Underwear Laundry Collection Contract Completion Form N-0-POO

...and the Second Assistant to the Senior Federal Administrative Clerk is currently in hospital with Orbital Platform Nausea Syndrome.

Failure to read the Galnet or even the mission descriptions was not enough unfortunately. As for the people of Lugh, with all those guns in their hands as they stormed Hartsfield Station and defended Read Gateway, I am sure they were more than capable of making their own choices. Pity about the ones onboard those transports though... Halsey made their decisions for them!

By the same token, even reading this thread would have thought you what you needed to do. All you had to do was read and as for Lugh now being a dictatorship? Again spoken like a completely misguided automaton, read the thread. Lugh's politics are the furthest thing from a dictatorship as you can get! But you would have known that if you took your finger off your trigger finger for two seconds and actually checked what it was you were fighting for.

The Federation is a fascist controlling Empire wrapped in brainwashing symbolism that contradicts itself at every turn. Its followers don't see only because they choose not to open their eyes. They can't cannot fathom the idea that just maybe all the lies they have been sold all their lives ae nothing more than that. without them their world and sense of self worth would crumble. So they choose to live in ignorance and wrap themselves in their flags while their masters enjoy themselves at their expense. Good little robots who do as they are told All the while, that fat bloated pig Halsey laughs at how easy they flock to their deaths on her behalf. Maybe she should pick up a gun and put her money where her mouth is eh?

Good thing there's no way a rebellion featuring a strong religious/ethnic element supported by vast numbers of foreign freedom fighters and mercenaries can go horribly, horribly wrong. Maybe we can call it the Lughite spring.

Just put another 1.5mil in the spear coffers. I don't know if it's my imagination or not, but I'm sure I could see that tracking bar jumping up everytime I checked last night!
I'm guessing that by the time I log back in tonight it'll all be over and I'll have a tasty +20mil bonus coming :D

I must say I have been enjoying the federale cries of 'but we smashed the combat goal'; it's almost as satisfying as seeing this system switch finally happen!

Now we just need to hold the system from those silver devils - might I suggest a second alliance delegation is in order ;)

This should be written on the Federation flag.

The Federation pilots have been fighting either in forgivable ignorance of the Lugh situation or unforgivable full knowledge that they were purely acting as saboteurs and, yes, dictators.

Many times over the course of this conflict there have been discussions about which side had moral superiority. "I like to wreck stuff!!" is an unusual weapon in the hearts'n'minds battlefields.

OK, so now that everyone has given each other a good pat on the back it is time to collect oursellves again.

Wake up people, lets go!

There is still a war on here and the enemy still are at work. We have achieved a great milestone and created a huge barrier for our enemies to shift. Things are totally in our favour now but it would be foolish of us not to capitalize on that now. The goal of this project has always been to free Lugh from the Federation. Lugh still is not free. We have control of the system but the Feds need to leave. As we speak a battle is raging and the Feds are starting to wake up. I have asked you to trust me in the past and I am doing that again now. I need you to move on this immediately. This war is not over and complacency shall not be our downfall. The battle for Seega has begun. I wnt every pilot out there to take back what is ours! Do not let the Seega martyrs die in vein. Get out there and put an end to this and do it now.

For all of you who have laboured with us on this down through the months and to those of you who might be a little newer, I want you to understand. This whole thing began with the expectation of creating a combat zone and starting a civil war. FD has taken this war to new heights in what is my opinion a test run for what they are developing as 'Power Play'. What you see right now is that combat zone we always worked toward. Those of us who understand the background Sim kcan see what is taking place here. Those rules still apply. We have a lot of work ahead of us and that first wheel is now in spin. That war is not winding down. That war is the key to our ongoing victory and we cannot relent for a single moment. Every victory consolidates our position now and makes it more difficult for the Feds to dislodge us.

Have you read the Galnet? Our enemies obviously didn't, but I can tell you that I have and always pick the words very carefully. President Halsey is on the chopping block but she has not yet been ousted. Do you really think she will not make one last attempt to redeem herself? Do not fall into this false sense of security that this victory has brought us.

I know you are exhausted. I am too believe me. How my family have put up with the level of attention I have had to give this game over the past months astounds me. I am very lucky they are so understanding. All of you have worked and supported this project on a level that humbles me. Many of you have congratulated me and said some nice things but I feel the need to thank all of you. This could never have been done without all the huge support you have given to this project. The level of commitment some player have given this astounds me! But do not let that remove your focus from what is at hand. While those community goals exist the power of greed makes it inevitable that they shall be completed.

We need to push forward our victory here and consolidate this sytem. Lugh must become a fortress. I will not divulge what what we have learned about the background sim over the past months on here for casual eyes to plot against us. But what I will say is that you need to do this now if Lugh is to be secure. We have a huge system here and it is an enormous job for the Federation to crack. But let us not leave any chinks in our armour.
