Lets test this persistent universe and see if FD are true to their word.

Accepted. You lost me at that moment, in a big way, with the wife/girlfriend thing, and "CSG turds"... and I must have scroll-wheeled past a thousand lines of your text since that point.

this.

why are we feeding the troll? I'll check back in a few days to see if this thread had gotten back on track.

OK some mercenaries may take this in the right way but it certainly applies to the CSG

For those that don't get it yet... CSG Will win :D

A question about the mechanics of this .. will simply trading with a Federation system affect the influence?

Trading bolsters the influence of the faction in control of that station.

If you're asking, does it matter where you buy or sell goods outside Lugh... it matters in those systems. It doesn't directly matter to Lugh.

Now, if Crimson State Group hits "expansion" mode and extends its faction into another system, that's a whole new ball game.

I lost track of how many tons I did today, three separate sessions, I got quite a bit in. I did as many missions as I could muster, even switching to a Sidewinder to get in a few that needed to land on a small/medium pad.
I fear what the stat update brings in the morning. But tomorrow is a new day with time to fly!

If you deliver the goods to a CSG station it should help the CSG :)

Ahh thanks I was wondering if I should be trading only with independent systems or not.

You can't have your model and also have a Corporate system. What you're discussing sounds more like a Cooperative. Of which the CSG group, is obviously not delegated.

Actually we had this discussion about our goverment in early dezember in one of the first pages of this thread.

And actually we have our own goverment and ideologies if you read this whole thread properly.

You're ok as long as you stick to only CSG stations in Lugh. Anywhere else is free game unless your own personal convictions are against it. I've personally been trading in I Carinae, Charunder, and Shinrarta Dezhra with pretty good success. I'm not picky what faction I deal with outside of Lugh.
What I wish is we could get a better return on items outbound from Lugh, but I take the high supply good I can get and bring them where the best inbound goods are.

You have failed to understand anything that has gone on in this war. The Galnet clearly pointed out to you that the Federation is selling slaves on the open market in LTT4846. That is a FACT. You can go and buy them there if you wish! FD printed it because it is true!

Children have been going missing from Lugh, canned and turned into cat food. At best they are sold into slavery.

The Federation was offered a chance to solve the problem in Lugh publicly by a peoples vote but instead chose to invade and murder millions of citizens.

You have read 'Corporate Government' yet failed to read the politics of the Crimson State Group and the type of Government they represent. Lugh is governed by Brehon Law. It is a grass roots system where laws are created by the people themselves and control all the power. Figureheads have no admistrative power whatsoever. A tried and tested system that has worked and survived so because it worked for THOUSANDS of years. Go look it up, you might learn something.

Your statement about your beliefs has clearly demonstrated that you fell into this war blindly choosing to follow flags and emblems that are designed by their nature to herd the weak minded and based on your complex beliefs evidently fought for the wrong side.

You see this word 'Federation' and it inspires ideas of democracy in your mind but you fail to stop and actually analyse what it really is. So I will spell it out for you. The Federation is an Empire. It started in Earth and it went out into space and it created colonies. Those colonies are colonies of an Empire and are essential to the well being of a wasted and nearly lifeless source worlds well being who's prime export is now bio-waste. It is the playground of the rich and famous who grow fat off the toil of the colonies they keep bound to their control. These colonies of people with their own identities and no affiliation with this source world system (Sol) work and grind for ITS benefit. When these colony systems seek independence of themselves your 'Federation' opens up a can of democracy on them. Does that sound like letting people control their own lives to you?

Giving an Empire a name like the Federation does not stop it being an Empire. The truth is still the truth even if a thousand misguided voices try to shout it down.

The Crimson State was never attempting to join the Alliance. We have no interest in being in their club. We were seeking inter-galactic recognition as a sovereign state and a trade embargo against the Lugh for Equality Party. If you had actually read the Galnet you would have understood that.

Didn't you read anything before you picked up your gun?

Besides, the Federation is the furthest thing from a democracy. I trust you actually read the descriptions on Fedration systems on the star map? If you did you would realise that they have a mixture of governmetal systems. The Federation is not a democracy.

Fact.
Wow dude, i get why people are joining with you to reach goals!
I love this game and you gave a superb experience the last weeks. It wasn't the money. It was the people and the dedication i witnessed and the content if your fantasy is suffice.
what a cool bunch of people! I would give you more rep but i don't have any more to give

Cmdr Lassan

As the first to answer the unattainble rep is most gratefully accepted from the CSG. And you are quite right it was never the money.

The last few weeks have been a pinnacle of ED/FD.

Can't wait for 1.3 I hope it continues where Lugh finishes off :)

what are rep points for anyway? Embrace your message with gentile words and it will be delivered
I'm burning to see the next update.....

Yes thats true because if it would have been the money i would sit on millions of credits.

This thread is and was guilty for making this game better.

Go out there now again and lets push the influence for CSG with trading and doing missions !

I just made it!
I'm now a "respected ally" to the CSG :)
So it's time to create a nice CSG signature for my forum account.

After all that fighting, trading and mission grindig I'm gonna refit my Cobra for exploring and take a few days off...
But I'll be back home soon - My T6 will wait for me here at Balandin Gateway...

Currently doing exploring in my spanking new Asp. Found a stretch that no one else has explored. Will return with exploration data.

Not willing to buy a type-7, but i will buy an Imperial Clipper when i can get enough Imperial influence. I've also been sick with the flu since Thursday.

Yeah GormDeGamie its kinda nice to be greeted as Respected Ally .. Been slaving over the mission board for the last few days... hmm speaking of which have a couple of slaves that need freeing from those hypocritical Federation planets.

Its kinda a shame what the Federation has turned into, they started well and they give lip service decent principles. Unfortunately the populace let their hierarchy and major supporters degenerate into a bunch of self seeking, deceitful and, above all, manipulative profiteers who major concern is their own self aggrandizement.

If any Lughnatics are interested, I'm trying to gather some people together to think about what's beyond Lugh.

Some, of course, will be happy to continue toiling away in Lugh forever, and that's fine. You'll always have the Federation breathing down your neck threatening to take the system back.

But for those who want to keep some momentum, why not considering joining Gal-Cop's efforts, and taking the fight to the Federation as a whole? Right now we plan on trying to do what Lugh did in the Isinor area, where the Fed's have set up a black site and exiled most of the people who used to live there to nearby systems.

If nothing else, risking their black ops site in Isinor seems like it would go a long way to helping Lugh simply by virtue of being an incredible distraction and a high priority for a Federal response.

I've made a post here,
https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=132136&p=2024617#post2024617

if anyone is interested.

I know the leadership of Lugh has said they don't want to personally get involved, but hopefully there are some kindred spirits here who can see the tactical benefits of a way to organize events like this in the future that happen elsewhere.
