Lets test this persistent universe and see if FD are true to their word.

I joined this experiment because it was just that, an experiment.I have no political or religous reason to continue, i just wanted to see what would happen in terms of Game Play.

I need to explain a little more,

I wanted ED to be what i remembered Elite to be but updated, and it is, you just need to look for it and play it the way you want to.

I am happy to continue doing what is needed to test the and make this the game the Players need, but at the same time i also need to play the game if that makes sense.

If Lugh needs me i will be there, doing what i can but in terms of testing. I take my hat off to all you guys/gals that have spent many r/l hours in this cause.

Yes i believe FD are true to their word, players can and will affect the game as it develops, just they were caught out by the activity and numbers involved and if nothing else comes from this then the has been tested and the Devs have been given data that they could never have got in testing.

Lugh and the CSG will be where my heart belongs in ED, but i also need to explore the game and find my own personal ED.

Have fun and enjoy what you are doing, without it the game will not progress.

Good speach mate. Have fun with whatever ED has to offer you :)

Huh. Didnt realize i got so much.

Went out exploring yesterday (in my Brand-Spakin-New-Asp) And returned today with 2.5 mil credits worth of exploration data.

Shiny.

Hope that helps! (Woot, Pathfinder rank!)

Yep. :)

I was watching the influence percentages with interest over the weekend. They seemed to get "stuck" for a long time, but have since freed up a lot.

While all the other factions came out of the WAR footing into a soft landing (BOOM), LfE got a nastier post-war state of CIVIL UNREST. Spotted a related local news article about Anderson Escape station being in a state of internal strife. It's possible that LfE could shed another station, to someone else.

CSG is currently facing a multitude of pending critical states, one of which is OUTBREAK. I'll check tonight to see if any one CSG station has obvious "medicines" missions (yet).

I might truck in a heap of medicines this evening. Not sure if the big-dollar stuff like Progenitor Cells do the most good in pushing back critical "outbreak" state, or if Basic Medicines are the go.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the influence numbers today too. But I was confused there were no posts with the update as usual, I didn't want to post it myself in case I missed an order for radio silence! I didn't get as much done today, but watched this thread a lot and now finally a couple posts.

I saw one of those from the medical officer of Balandin but it was unobtainable. Apparently I didn't have that factions trust even though Im a ally of the CSG

Can we reduce outbreak by just trading medicine on our own initiative or do we need to wait for missions?

My understanding is that in theory it should help. But I've seen no evidence that it does. If you're not doing missions (please do missions!), doing medicines would make sense. But progenitor cells (decent profit) vs basic meds? I don't know!

Did I mention "please do missions?" ;)

Cool. I'll keep a lookout.

Oh, and double-check stuff like free cargo space vs. requested cargo quantity...

Yes, I had a mission to get 34T of food, but I was in the vulture at the time so it was in the "missions you can't pick up" section. Slightly annoying given that I was only in the vulture for a couple of pew-pew missions and was about to swap back to the Asp anyway on my next stop. Oh well, I was pretty much up to my neck in pending missions at that point so didn't matter much. Like busses aren't they these CSG missions :)

I've been doing all the missions I can get but they're surprisingly thin on the ground right now and a lot of them seem to have the little red arrow for either lockdown or outbreak. Even after all this time I'm still not sure if that's specific to the mission or a general trend indicator but either way it aint good. I was hoping to counteract it.

I mean, I can carry 226 tonnes of cargo. When they send me out for 6 algae and 4 food cartridges it's really no trouble to swing by Shinrarta Dezhra on the way back and pick up 216T of performance enhancers or whatever. Which I have been doing anyway because money, but it would be nice if it actually helped.

where are you doing missions from, I tried Baladin, Knight , Hartsfield and the next one that I can never remember. I couldn't find a single CSG mission.
I did a fair bit of trading, food prog cells etc while running missions out of Sesuang. The Sesuang Co is in a bad way there and needs a boost, we don't want the feds taking the system back over.
Tonight I'll see which missions I can flip, but most of them were of the kill variety.

Im doing them at Balandin and getting a lot though I might move to hartsfield as it make the "rare art work " more profitable as you can sell the left overs in the black market

I was using Balandin and Hartsfield, and getting some missions at each, though not as many as when we had 90% influence (which makes sense I guess). Interesting point about Sesuang Co, one to keep an eye on!

I did a stack of missions over the weekend, out of Knight and Balandin. All were successful, until I chose an infernal assassination mission... which branched itself into oblivion. I was left with a mission to kill Person A or Person B, in one of three systems, with no clues from NPCs forthcoming... which meant the target itself was a total no-show. Disappointing.

I'll say this, though... a Strong Signal Source + Vulture = 7 easy Pirate kills! :)

I'm doing missions from the big "three" : Balandin / Knight Dock / Hartsfield.
I tried from LFE stations but there were none for CSG there.

Usually, I'm still not quite sure what happened but I think two of the pirates were in Vultures and I think the local police turned up who didn't show up as green for me on my scanner in that system so I think I clipped a police Vulture. I managed to get out with hull at 60% and falling fast and a wanted status. I go in a bit more cautious now :D

i asked about this and orfeboy mentioned a couple pages back that there are more as you do them. I was confused by this because I've been allied for a *long* time. But as I completed them more seemed to appear. I hadn't done any in a while, since two or three weeks before the war. Before the war we had a brief boom and were trading it, before that I was out of system because we were trying to avoid boom. So it was some time before that.
Nightstorm is right, it's not as many as when the influence was in the 90s
