What a mess FD after 10 x months...i mean i am going to buy Horizons but i think you stoped working or even thinking about improving the bgs and thats very sad :(

Fdev just dont devote enough time and testing to the background simulator. Mistakes are made by the coders during the code process, testing is incomplete because the background simulator is kept such a secret.
They have no AI ismulation of large scale actions to test everything before it goes live, just one bandaid after another and i dont even think fdev have a devoted background sim coder it gets shared around

That comes after they sacked the canadian devision which was working on it, a massive oversight by braben.

Testing the background simulator..we were testing it and showed them whats is not working and you dont need a professional programmer to see that there is something wrong. Just take the Unity Engine (its for free) and look what people made out of it (Rimworld or Prison Architect for example).
Keeping secrets means sometimes your hiding something.

The Crimson State Group Corporation is hiring.
The Crimson State Group Corporation is currently on the look out for dedicated and capable commanders for a new humanitarian project set in their neighbouring systems. The contraversial Crimson State Group first grew in notoriety during the revolution staged one year ago in their home system of Lugh where the heroic rebellion of the native people rose to free themselves from the binds and shackles of their overlords within th Federation who sought to supress their sovereign right to their own destiny.

Since those dark times the Crimson State group and indeed The Lugh system itself has prospered, returning to the old ways of their ancestors to create their own unique system of Governance. One which works and serves only the people. Gone are the days of figure heads and moneymen. As a non-profit organisation the CSG has sought only to raise up the weak and destitute within its protection and to create a fair and robust society for all wihin its protective sphere.

These values have not been lost on its surrounding neighbours, ancient colonies dating back to the first ventures into deep space from the homeworld of Sol. But these ancient societies over the centuries have grown voices of their own and amongst their populations reside those who would deny their masters claimed historic right to own their home systems.

Such is the current plight of the Masszony system. Masszony is a small outpost mining colony within the confines of Lugh local space. Over the course of the past year The Crimson State Group corporation has set up various branches of industry amongst local systems, strengthening its ties and giving a voice to the oppressed in many of the poorer systems unable to shout above the roaring din of their masters. To this end, the recent building program instigated by the Crimson State Group in the LHS 332 system has called for increased resources for the construction of several bases on LHS 332's orbiting moons. These bases currently under construction have placed high demand on Masszony where CSG industry has met these demands while maintaining a decent standard of living for its workers much to the detriment of other local industries. The purpose of this project being to house and relocate some of the unlawfully imprisoned families and inmates of Schithers Penal Colony.

The mining sector of CSG has recently come under aggressive response from Local Masszony minister after his source of cheap labour was stifled in the wake of the liberation of LHS 332 and improving work conditions within the CSG industry within Masszony has created direct competition that has resulted in a political shift within the system.

The work force of Masszony have started to demand equal pay and working conditions from the Masszony Government to their counterparts in the Crimson State Group and the CSG means to give it to them. All of this comes tightly on the heels of internal strife within the 'Co-operative of Masszony' itself, where rumors abound of corruption and direct political puppetry at the hands of the local Mafia family.

We require the service of able bodied commanders who are willing to work with us for the goal to improve the lives of those aboard the Pashin Settlement in the Masszony system and raise them above the poverty and virtual enslavement they now currently endure.

Going forwad the Crimson State Group promises large payouts to commanders working toward this goal.

This is the first step in our plan to raise the fortunes of our surrounding systems.

Justice needs you!

Title: Storm clouds gather in the Masszony System

Location: Lugh

A war council was brought into session in the Lugh system this afternoon after a controversial plead for assistance was received from key figures from within the current government of the Masszony system. It would seem that leading figures from organisations currently supporting the ‘Co-operative of Masszony’ have accused their peers of both drastic public negligence and corruption consorting directly with the powerful outlaw syndicate known only as ‘The Masszony Blue Family’. Further to these ends, tensions were heightened in the people conference on Tír na Lugh only today as Cormac Uí Laoghaire expressed his desire to even the balance of power in the system expressing his concerns that the Blue Family were known allies and cohorts of none other than the Silver Boys of Crom.

“It has been long known that the Blue Family of Masszony and other local pirate consortiums in these local systems have been working closely with the dark masters of the Crom system. Known to all here, these banished and relentless enemies of Lugh have sought ever to undermine the very foundation of the free peoples of this system. I put it to this council that if the Government of Masszony cannot control its own council and slides ever into anarchy, Lugh must react and protect its borders and dependent systems. Did we not swear to aid those who would call us for aid? Have we since forgotten the turmoil and the price we so dearly paid for our own independence? Our solemn right to self determination? Right now Masszony finds itself under the cosh of these pirates whom on the surface seem nothing but a menacing shadow and so it would suit those amongst the current corrupt Government there who would seek to dampen the cries for Justice amongst their peers? Do we now forsake them when they call to us for aid? Do we allow the Silver Boys to tighten their grip in our local space?”

While the talks will surely continue into the night, nobody can be in any doubt that none of this could have arrived at a worse time, as the Federation once again bites at the heels of The Sons of Conn’s freedom and liberty. Despite military treaties and trade agreements with Edmund Mahon himself, the Alliance of free worlds has done nothing to sate the appetite of the Federations greed and thirst for conquest.

Further Update

He who would be King...

Incoming reports confirm the situation has shifted from bad to worse almost overnight in the Masszony system. Recent friction between the Crimson State Group of Lugh and the Co-op of Masszony stemming from vicious competition and a social shift in demands for better working conditions aboard the Pashin Settlement have left the Co-op of Masszony reeling in recent days amid accusations of foul play, bribery and consorting with a growing resident cartel on one of the orbiting icy moons.

From out of nowhere a minor disidant group calling themselves 'The Monarchy of Masszony' have entered the fray throwing all their resources in an all out strike against The Crimson State Group and what can only be described as it's 'growing social movement' as it's Brehon Law styled goverment ignites fires in the minds of the downtrodden in Lugh's neighbouring systems. Speculation abounds amongst the tiny population of Masszony as to what underhand deals or motivation has sparked this attack. All eyes currently point toward The Co-op of Masszony as they tighten their grip on production aboard the tiny outpost on the rim of this backwater system.
