I would be more annoyed if they announced content for ED, which a LEP holder had to pay for....
But seeing as they haven't and ED:Horizons was £40 (£30 if you already owned ED), then that means I have already gotten 25% of the value, and we still have quite a few years ahead of us.
Edit: I personally viewed the LEP as a Lifetime Sub to a traditional Sub based MMO, you are taking a gamble on the future of the game, and if you spend more time playing the game than would have cost you normally to pay for, then WIN!

Well, the calm-collected lepers (by far the majority
) would welcome this (as I'm sure would most sensible people). The toys-out-of-the-pram lepers will undoubtedly carry on raging regardless and then complain more if deadline were not met / changed. Okay. Please tell me. How is something you´ve payed money for free? How many years do I have to keep calm if THIS is the "secret" thing they "teased" as a response to a ticket 14 months ago?!? This is a joke and if you managed to get your head out of their (insert bad word here) you would probably be able to see it, too.

I do not believe in that kind of exclusive content, just look at the recurring Cobra Mk IV threads (was a while since the last one now...), that want to make this ship available to all the rest who do not have this ship. Exclusive content will always find it way into this category, there will always be players who missed out on the opportunity for various reasons, like they are new players and did not even know about this when the opportunity to buy into this was an option.
IF there should be exclusive content, then it should be time limited exclusive, so in the end everyone have access to that content, regardless if it is a ship, paintjob, etc,etc. or something like a Braben bobble head.

I don't agree with CMDR After-Dinner Drink, but I get the anger, though I don't feel it myself. The last MAJOR paid expansion launched THREE YEARS AGO. I welcomed Beyond (and look forward to playing it) but there hasn't been a major new update of new stuff (not fixed basegame stuff) announced in 3+ years. That's a bit longer than what we were expecting when the first 'season' came in a year after launch, we expected things would be a bit faster paced.

I think most of us that have been playing since release HAVE actually spent hundreds on this game. You'll get your free content next year, whilst the rest of us will HAPPILY pay for the new content.
