Yeah that's the one, reading white on black for more than a few minutes fatigues my eyes so I had to change it.
It this better? Is this better? Or should I use this blue this purple As always I'm open to suggestions.
These colours are the ones that are easily readable, the others require a lot of focus or selecting the text.

I'm sure there are as well. The embittered cynic in me thinks this is FD's Anti-Fed bias... again...
Even if it's not the case that they've chosen to ignore player Fed factions, they've made the Feds so unapproachable, characterless and boring that nobody wants to create a faction out of them. Yet there are dozens of Empire factions because they have interesting characters and storylines.
The Feds could too, if FD wanted to. But they don't care, they like their bizarre hybridized authoritarian-libertarian Empire that for some reason is put on a pedestal while the other two factions are largely ignored.
