List of suggestions we NEED with colonization

1-Being able to see what and how many of commodities you need for your current constructions when you open a commodities market, automatic.
2-Being able to see how the finished project will look PROPERLY before you start constructing, that small banner sized picture is very bad. Being able to see it with more details while trying to deploy could also work.
3-Being able to cancel a project before its finished, atleast when it just deployed and has 0% progress.
4-Improving planetary map so we can zoom in even further to spot cool locations, showing the day and night sides accurately at the moment, possibly having an ability to "fast forwards" the planet to see how it would look like when time passes so we can see if the cool spot we like ever gets day/night times without having to have a degree on astrophysics to figure by trying to calculate the planet tilt etc
5-Ability to mark spots or atleast see their coordinates on planetary map
6-Possible "planetary minimap" where you could put somewhere on the dashboard to see planet from above while flying
7-BETTER INDICATORS and ways to track the stats of the system, and structures on what they actually effect. Like what is WEALTH, what is TECH LEVEL, what is DEVELOPMENT LEVEL exactly like what do they EXACTLY effect ? Tell it clearly.
8-Show what a facility will EXACTLY generate, like if i put a large mining settlement what EXACTLY is it gonna produce ? if i put an industrial what is it gonna produce ? show the connection between different facilities like what will industrial gonna import from mining settlement and create what ? show that, say that, type "STEEL, ROBOTICS" or whatever somewhere.
9-INCREASE THE PASSIVE INCOME DRASTICALLY, I spent a whole week building a T3 station solo and I got 30k the thursday... Like... come on. These are numbers that people started playing 15 mins ago would find funny. If im spending my week possibly weeks building the biggest station BY MY OWN that station alone should get me millions if not dozens of millions
10-So maybe connected to the 9, show us the potential income we can get from every settlement.
I will add more if i see or think about more suggestions

I definitely agree with "3-Being able to cancel a project before its finished, at least when it just deployed and has 0% progress." I just initiated a T3 Orbital, only to find that I could not drop from supercruise into the same instance as the construction site!! This means that the site keeps moving relative to my ship, making it imposable to land. Better now, I suppose, that after making all the deliveries. I'm still out my T3 points and the build location though.

  1. Agree with this. Sound like FDev have left this for 3rd party apps.
  2. Agree with this. This is what its going to look like, sorry you can't see the details.
  3. Duh, a must have. At least a "Oops id did not mean to click that" option.
  4. Isn't that the job of the architect. Should you not be visiting the system and surveying it?
  5. Nice idea
  6. Again, an idea for a 3rd party app
  7. The problem is that everyone has different needs. No one solution would satisfy everyone.
  8. This is quite common with Elite. Lack of documentation means that everyone has to figure out for themselves or wait for the community to do it for FDev.
  9. Remember, you are only the architect, not the owner of the facility. As such you only get a small percentage of the income. No get rich quick schemes here.
  10. Agreed, no sane architect would enter into a venture without knowing the possible benefits. Again a lack of documentation.

Agree on some not most though. Absolutely disagree on income increases. As far as we know these payments never end. 10k a week forever is a lot. Eventually most of us will have all for modules slots in our carriers filled with (mostly pointless modules) and even if we stop playing forever this passive income will keep paying for it to stay as space litter indefinitely. I hope they intend to end payments form a system after a year or so.
