Everyone else use metric. You US people are backward.Why would we have something we are not used to and is impractical and not scientific just so you US people can be happy? Right?
Of course the optimal is to have option.
Had to laugh at this Helena. Here in the UK we have gone metric from the old Imperial weights and measures, but most of us older folk still ask at the butchers shop for a pound of sausages or 5lbs of potatoes at a greengrocers stall on the markets. Although they are weighed in kilos. It's just typical British somehow. At least we have still got our own currency, even if it has been metric since 1972, a lot of older people, still convert 10p to mean two shillings. Not so much now with currency, but they did for a long time after we went decimal. Good old British values I suppose, us British, don't like change and are proud of our old values. [haha]
