Not after I bought some trade data and landed at Jameson Memorial. Every time I try start the game I get
"There was a problem retrieving Commander data from the server. Try again in a few minutes. If the problem persists contact technical support via the game launcher."

It's working now after I tried open play.
Back the same issue again. Try again tomorrow.
FDev is DDoSing themselves with every update. They simply don't have the capacity to run so many players at the same time. We've reached the hardcap of their potential, interesting.
Though it's not really a DDoS in that matter. As the service runs ... for like half of the player base.
How difficult can it be to set up a proper data base and appropiate servers? I don't really believe FDev hasn't got the money, I believe they don't have the know-how and mentality for change. Absurd.

Is it on attempting to start a session? Looks like I may have to continue on my DW2 CMDR if it isn't easy to switch right now.

I was in for a bit, with massive FPS problems in VR, even after dialing graphics way down.... Restarted to see if it would improve, and now I am barely able to get beyond the menu screen which keeps switching between the ship I am in, and a sidey. But can't get in game anymore because it can't load CMDR data
I suspect the AWS Elastic Band Cloud has snapped.
