An Islamic NGO is going to post an advertising "Subhan Allah" on 640 red buses during the Ramadan. Christians denounce one double standards while an Anglican advertising was banned at the time of Christmas. ----- http://www.independent.co.uk/news/u...amadan-campaigners-allah-london-a7020286.html

Ce genre d'histoire est uniquement la pour diviser les communautés… ce qui marche très bien en France mais bien moins en Angleterre, merci de ne pas importer ces basses manipulations de nos élites.

Storm in teacup. And a hypocritical one too.

Other religious stuff has turned up on buses (Christian, humanist, etc), and the Christian ad was rejected by the cinema media company - so not the government or TFL, in other words no-one to do with this! - as they have a standing rule about not accepting religious or political adverts.

Basically the guys behind the Christian film dropped the ball as they should have made sure that film would have been accepted before filming the bloody thing! I work in media, and it is well-paid and intelligent people's jobs to know about this... unless this was done deliberately to kick up a fuss. I'm old/cynical enough to have seen this happen before so won't rule it out.

I'm with the National Secular Society on this: http://www.secularism.org.uk/blog/2016/05/furore-over-islamic-bus-adverts-is-disingenuous-propaganda

Try to write on the car 'glory to christian' and you will be called not tollerant, racist, fashist or other *.fob or *.ist. Political corectness is a disease what will kill Europe. The 1st public enemy of Europe is a hetero christian white father with two childrens and wife.

^ Sad but true, cant believe how far it has already gone- apparently the nursery rhyme baa baa black sheep is now racist and Nothing can be done or said by anyone without someone taking offence

Yes. There is censure. No one can say 'no'. You can only say 'yes' to everything, it doesnt matter how stupid it is. I am glad my country have natural immune for political corectness. At least at now.
You can only agree. If you disagree then you are not tolerant.

Yes I agree with that. European man is much tolerant with the other cultures, but not much with his culture

Everyone can say everything bad for european men, but it works only in one side. European men cannot say 'no' and cannot 'disagree'. European people should start thinking or Europe will fall.

Today I had a high-level leadership meeting at work. I was one of two women around a table of nine white males.
I didn't know I was in the company of the some of the most prolific villains in Europe.

Lady Galadriel!?

"It's also an opportunity to get across the meaning of Ramadan, as a time of spiritual reflection when Muslims give to those less fortunate than themselves, but it's a charity fundraising campaign first and foremost."

No..its not, its there to cause controversy.

Lets hope the bus drivers go on strike. ;)

Um, did you read my post? You're completely wrong.

There have been various Christian adverts on the sides of London buses. There are also regularly posters of bible verses & similar up in Underground stations. No rule against religious adverts by TfL. The only one that was banned (by the mayor's office) was a blatantly anti-gay ad.

I'd rather that there are no religious adverts at all, but that's just me!

EDIT: For clarity I've lived in London for 20 years and use public transport pretty much daily. There is NO descrimination against Christian orgs advertising - I've seen plenty of them myself.

The only anglican christian group advert that was banned on London buses was this one :

And with good reason too..

Is that what you meant?

Get over it..

Seriously, we are all mortal. What is wrong with you lot. Have you deluded yourself into thinking cynical is interesting. There is a world out there that is offline,.

I know, but please don't talk about it. I have enough trouble dealing with the real world on my PC.

In France, this kind of advertising on the buses is unthinkable. We are a laic country. This kind of advertising would be interpreted as proselytism
