Long running macro's threat by FD - What exactly is a long running macro?!

Its quite possible to tank influence in a system, but to do long term damage that cannot be quickly repaired to a multi system faction would take weeks. Clever management could defend against the loss of assets and systems almost indefinitely.

We are aware of ruling factions at 1% who have been there for months without losing a station.

When influence % is very low wars -and therefore asset changes- do not occur... you know this right? :)

Tanking influence is a very easy thing with this nuke, takes just a few days, not weeks and the snowball effect can lead to complete annihilation of any group (See TIIQ) . The point is this nuke can destroy weeks of hard work on the BGS with very little effort. I am not sure how there can be any debate here as to why this is a unbalanced and exploitable mechanic.
