Parks Magic Kingdom Florida full build WIP

Is there a way that you can upload this to the Workshop so we can look at it so far?

Yes, I sure can. Unfortunately, right now I'm reworking the layout. I've been forced to delete the entry area as I would have run out of space on the far end. So I pushed the train depot forward and it's now the first thing you see when guests walk in. It's not what I wanted but to make sure I had space for the back end (Fantasyland, Seven Dwarves Mine Train) I had to.

As soon as it's back to what it was I'll post it on the Workshop.

Hey Jforcer, well I stopped playing for several months, felt overwhelmed with the build and with work, new house, kids and I needed to step away from it. Now, however, with the update, and some more free time, I'm back. I'm thrilled to be able to build the full entrance since I can expand the total plot even further through scenarios. Give me some time to retool the entrance and I'll upload what I've got!

After some time reworking the entrance, this is what I've got so far. It's starting to take shape.

Thank you. You keep me on my toes wowman, your build inspires me to keep focused! Also, the ability to further expand the park dimensions through the scenario editor gave this build new life. There simply was not enough room prior to recreate it accurately. So thank you Frontier!

Hey all, thought I'd throw a few more pics of the entrance area. Don't mind the barriers, they'll be buried once the traffic flow is correct. Currently working on the Monorail station and then onto more detailing along the paths and little nuances within it. Enjoy!

The umbrellas at the bottom of the pic are where the "guests without bags" entrance is, but Disney removed them once metal detectors were installed. I liked the look of them and kept them for the not only the nostalgic factor, but they're also more attractive than metal detectors. :)

This area is underneath the train depot where you exit the train to get back to the park. Also down here is the stroller rental area but decided to exclude that, because, well, they're strollers. If Frontier adds them as a scenery item, I would build in the rental area. Also, being a stickler for the finest of details, I had to add all the wall decorations. The images used on the spooky frames are hi-res and you can read them up close. I want to give folks who've never been to Disney the experiences I have when I'm here. Reading about Walt Disney and others is always a nice change of pace from the rides. Lots to do and see at Magic Kingdom!

Here is the west tunnel entrance heading into Main St USA. The pics on the walls are the exact images in the park. I absolutely love the poster art Disney used in the tunnels. It sort of has that movie theater feel as you're seeing upcoming movie advertisements while you walk toward your theater entrance.

This is the mezzanine level of the depot with the entrance to the train ride. Unfortunately I wasn't able to create a path that went down those stairs, so I just used scenery items. There are curved staircases on the far ends of the back side and that's where paths were created for guests to enter the train queue.

More coming soon!

looks awesome - the security checkpoints have been moved from in front of the entry plaza - to before you even get on the monorails back at the transportation center...so...you could remove those security areas from this park of your park entirely.

You're right, the checkpoints are at the TTC, and I knew it too, right after tram departure. I need to get to bed earlier!

This is so amazingly beautiful. You catch the Magic Kingdom style and Disney spirit so well! Keep on working, defenitly would like to see more. BR, Corkscrewloop[happy]

Amazing work!! Can't wait to see more. If you ever need any photo updates or anything let me know. I live directly behind Magic Kingdom so I can hop into the park within a couple minutes. [big grin]

Thank you! More is definitely on the way. I'm almost finished with the monorail station. Not sure yet how I'm going to direct the rail since one goes to Epcot and the other to Grand Floridian. I'll post monorail station pics soon, and it will have a periodic looping audio of the famous "Please stand clear of the doors..." 🤣

I haven't played much lately, but didn't they add something where you can turn the collision rules off? In theory, I think you could create two separate monorails and have them overlap for the shared section.

I was gonna suggest that when you were running out of room, open the Scenario Editor, expand the park to max size, then move things as needed for the new size, saves a lot of future headaches when you have a bit of wiggle room to work with then the default size of whatever land you started with.

Why were the security checkpoints moved to the transportation center at WDW?

To reduce congestion at the park entrance I think. It used to get pretty busy outside the main entrance when the security checks were there, as the queue often extended all the way up to the monorail.

Also, very nicely done OP. It looks just like the real thing so far.
