Ngl, I doubt Frontier is gonna add fully fledged aviaries and aquariums to Planet Zoo

If they do, I'll change my forum name to "A Monkey's Uncle"

Personally I think since

1) Frontier added aquariums and aviaries to one of their games Jurassic World Evolution 2

2) Frontier also added deep diving mechanics in the aquatic dlc, the game already has marine animals.

Just don't allow them to go on land for whales, manatees etc.

3) With the inclusion of Egyptian Fruit Bats the flying mechanics are alsoq already in the game. They are currently limited to walk through exhibits which sucks.

But deep diving exists in the game, so do flying animals, and Frontier has already made a game with aviaries and aquariums.

I'm curious why you still doubt it?

(Aviary and Aquarium dlc would sell better than any other dlc. There's motivation for Frontier. There is big monetary motivation to make these dlcs.)

Don't get me wrong, I want a pack of completely marine life in the game, like Whales and Sharks, however, my reason for having doubts boils down to 2 things:

1. Both games may be developed and published by Frontier, but the JWE franchise is run by a different set of team than that from PlaZoo.
2. The JWE franchise is a licensed IP, wherein Universal gets a say to what may get added or not, while PlaZoo is an IP of FD. Sure, there shouldn't be a reason why FD can't add a total marine pack to PlaZoo, but given the timeframe, the animals added to the game concerning marine are just semi-aquatic.

-I'd understand if the addition of the Aquatic Pack serves as a transition or jump off point for the additional of full marine animals, but the Aquatic Pack had been out since 2020, It's been more than 2 yrs, there should have been at least news of the addition of full marine animals. So yeah, I want them, but I'm having my fingers crossed. I'll start losing my doubt once they release news of the addition of full marine animals.

But jurassic park evolution, planet coaster and planet zoo clearly all have overlapping concepts.

There is literally reused assets. And reused mechanics. Doesn't planet coaster have some of the EXACT same things as planet zoo?

It makes sense since frontier made all 3 games.

To add flying mechanics to this game with bats and not add birds makes zero sense.

Same with adding deep diving mechanics but not adding marine animals, at this point Frontier has all the capability, they just haven't made the dlc.

I imagine it will be at the very end of Planet zoos life. Two really requested dlcs to end the game and sell really well.

Every mechanic is already in the game.

I've stopped buying DLC.

I didn't buy Twilight, Tropical, or Arid.

If we aren't getting birds and aquariums I am not shelling out money for DLC's anymore.

What keeps me interested in this game is getting avairies and aquariums at some point in the future, like a real zoo.

If we are never getting that, I have no motivation to keep buying DLC's.

The community overall seems to think it is never happening.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 just announced a Prehistoric Marine Species Pack. I really think it would be a squandered opportunity to not give the Planet Zoo community a Marine Species Pack as well.

Jurassic World Evolution 2's last pack's date release was earlier. Two months after the last one. That last one before that Marine pack didn't feature any new creatures for Jurassic World Evolution 2.

This isn't about release date, it's just saying that Marine animals added to jurassic world is a great opportunity to add in some true aquatic animals for planet zoo.
