Make "blue" planets landable in Horizons!

Now it has happened to me for the second time that I transferred my AX ship to a system where only a ground installation is currently under attack... only to be foiled during approach, because I didn't see that the planet has a "blue" atmosphere which can only be approached with Od.
Now this sucks. Do you want us to fight in that war or not? Why in the galaxy can't I approach there? I even have that Advanced Planetary suite for "landing on planets with tenuous atmospheres". I don't want to do any legwork down there, I just want to get into the instance to defend the installation from Fargoids!

There is an easy way to land there... just buy Odyssey! ;)
Obviously you are able to play on your rig the 4.0 engine, so... what stop's you?
That I have absolutely zero interest in any of the content that Odd provides. Just being permitted to land on a planet where someone set a single byte to say it's "tenuous" rather than "zero" atmosphere is not 35 bucks worth of content.

Sorry I didn't notice that as someone had got their fingerprints smudged all over my screen.
Just being permitted to land on a planet where someone set a single byte to say it's "tenuous" rather than "zero" atmosphere is not 35 bucks worth of content.
Then wait for a discount or just don't buy it, instead of demanding they make free the feature you really want but have zero interest in.

What I want is to participate in the thargoid instances at planetary installations. It's 100% exactly the same content as on planets without atmosphere. I just want to access the content I ALREADY PAID FOR. No more, no less.Taking the same content and locking it behind another paywall is dishonest to say the least.

You contradict yourself. You state that you want to land on a light atmospheric planet only avialable in Odyssey but then go on to state that you have no interest in any Odyssey content, of which, light atmospheric planets are a part of that content.

Maybe what you really want is free stuff.

atm it's on sale at Epic... 17,49 credits (whatever) and you can also get coupons for 25% for free games... so <15...
I'm sure, other platforms/Frontier have also sales from time to time...
Edit: (it's getting complicated - with thanks to Helmut Grokenberger for that hint) Be aware that you must buy Odyssey from the same source as the base game. Getting Odyssey from Epic for the Steam or Frontier version doesn't work.

you say in a thread where you express interest in some of the content Odyssey provides
yep... made my day...

You didn't paid for... others did.
You can go back to 3.8 legacy, that's what you've paid for, that's what you should be able to access.

Problem/suggestion solved, thread can be closed. :p

I don't get that line of thinking.
It's like if you had a subscription for a bus pass to get to work, and the carrier decides to randomly paint half the buses purple and says you now need a second pass to be allowed to ride those, because the purple ones also stop at the museum for slime and mould, even if you still only want to get to your workplace. How is that fair?

By that line of thinking, absolutely nobody gets access to Live - after all, it was not a paid update. See how dumb that sounds?
