Making the unique Double-Engineered Missile Rack available via Tech Brokers is a great idea - hopefully other unique modules will come later too

lying to yourself if you think
So you claim to know my mind better than I? Curious.
It's ok, you can admit that you dont like my idea because it would force you to re-collect materials if you died...
I'd have to die a lot of times before being forced to collect materials - but then, I play enough to be able to be virtually filled on most of the useful ones...
You can admit that the game loops in the game are super weak and repetitive and something that was mastered in the first month of playing the game and haven't scaled in difficulty with your abitiies or with rewards at all since.
Thank you for the kind offer, but I really don't need to make such an admission.
It doesn't mean you have to stop playing just because you admit that the game is all grind mechanics where your actions are the same basic set that are repeated infinitely with no meaningful impact on the game.
I don't admit the game is "all grind mechanics"

Obviously our approach and opinion of the game differ, none of the 'issues' you so kindly highlighted reflect my opinion of ED. It is quite amusing that you cannot perceive anyone being able to continually enjoy this game without being somewhat lacking - but even more that you appear to believe this pleasure is self-deception.

I'm sorry you inssist on playing something that doesn't bring you any pleasure.

Not curious, there's an entire industry where people goto other people to tell them why they think or do the things they do.

It's quite possible to admit that the current state of things are easily improved or currently place-holders or currently broken and yet still play it in the meantime. The two aren't mutually exclusive. That's what can drive interest in changing it. Weak game loops aren't fun ...and there's no good reason for them to remain that way. Not everything involves them though.

Indeed there is, and very lucrative too, once one has an excellent reputation, of course. (I think it fascinating that a random character can infer a slur onto another without knowing the other's profession, don't you?)
...sadly the lunatic fringe are left in the 'care of the community' these days.

I don't mind engineering as it works now, except:

1. Some of the modifications seem a bit pointless now.

2. Acquisition of materials needs looking at.

3. Traders rates needs looking at.

Maybe let players sell materials. Credits are not exactly in short supply. I'd really like this, but I appreciate this would involve a lot of changes, so...
Maybe have the ability to tag an experimental onto a blueprint.

trading between players would be excellent, even if it was just carrier based.

Engineering wise, we do have a whole lot of modifications and experimental effects that are pretty useless.

Lightweight hull reinforcement comes to mind. An undersized heavy duty HRP has better numbers, and weighs less than a full sized HRP modified for lightweight.

I mean look at that absolutely useless lightweight modification lol:

It needs a big resistance boost, like you get with lightweight modding bulkheads at the very least.

When did we get the "Point Defence with Focused and Lightweight"?

Edit: Found it: "Protect the Marlinist Food Deliveries"
