No we are not. The game having to sacrifice mechanics that create higher risk to compliment the high reward or higher abilities leaves it boring and shallow. It makes optional achievements pointless and meaningless not just as a personal perception of them but in the scheme of the game.
the idea that this compromised gameplay doesn't impact players only has a basis in reality if this were a single player game. And even as a single player game it would be weak sauce.
