At least for me, the story is good enough just to make me move forward in the game. What I really like is the quality and visual diversity on each planet, many secondary missions, combat, craft, loot, weapons, armors, a very fun gameplay and best of all huge maps with content for exploration and above all it is visually beautiful .

Broke the 100 hour mark last night and still barely halfway through the campaign...I started on hardcore and hard doesnt even begin to describe the first 20 levels. The crafting system is just brilliant and the farming of materials and resources just sorta happens without going out of yer way to acquire them, unless yer trying to craft revenant armour which requires a bit more legwork.

Its not mass effect 3 gameplay, its so much more complex from switching profiles in the middle of a fight to focus more on tech, biotics or combat and powers arent fixed, its entirely possible to build tech/biotic/combat hybrids which is unlike anything any previous mass effect game had. Like mixing an asari with an n7 engineer...fun finding what works and what really doesnt.

100 hours in and still going strong...and thats campaign only aint even touched multiplayer yet ^

Price went down $10 on Amazon last time I checked.

Edit: Price has dropped $23. Just checked. It's now $37

Just had to check outta curiosity and can confirm the price to be unchanged in mainstream sources, with only minor discounts here and there. Why worry anyway? 125 hours in and still only 3 planets at 100%...name me another single player only game that offers that much playability fer 50 notes...apart from solo mode elite.

On a lighter note, the fight with the kett archon on the kett warship was a 3 hour affair alone. Am a bit concerned about my choice to save the krogan scouts and not the salarian pathfinder during the fight...that might come back to haunt me later but...too late now, the salarian died well while the krogan are now staunch allies. I know who Id rather have at my back which is what was the way I made the choice.

Also found a weird bug and fer once its a cool bug. Ive yet to hit level 40 so cant use anything higher rated than grade 5 armour and weapons...apart from a remnant chest plate which is full level 10 and gives all the bonuses. Cant do it with anything else but this one chest plate so Im thinking, bug. Enjoy it while it lasts cos they will patch that in the next update no doubt :p

Suits me as Im not using any biotics at all, pure tech build and the remnantt armour gives good sheild and regen bonuses ^

Fallout 3/New Vegas/4 - damn I have like 300h with NV only
Dark Souls 1/2/3 - more than 500h with every single one.

It's fair to say that verminstar feels he has gotten great value. Can't argue with the man for that and fair play to him. :)

Very much so.

If the game was from anyone other than EA I would of probably bought it already. As it is? Nope. I'll wait till the DLC is all released and I can get the whole package cheap :)

Sure, but he also should acknowledge its not much of an argument. I've personally eaten more canned beans than any other kind of food the last year, but you wont see me argue that makes it superior food, or that other people surely must have or should eat a lot of canned beans. :p

Haha yeah I suppose I asked fer that one...then again none of those games have biotics and techs and...ok yeah I'm making excuses now.

Still...damned good game fer me despite the great many little glitches and bugs. It's early days yet, so much more could be done and added in the dlc the way me3 got better when collectors and platinum difficulty was introduced.

At this point of addiction, there's literally nothing that could stop me playing it...it's now my first and second choice game which ain't bad fer a multigame multi platform gamer. Still hopeful fer change to happen here, but that change won't happen anytime soon and what better way to pass the time...better than trying to persevere with this and getting more and more bitter.

Funny thing is I was looking forward to the online multiplayer aspect the most...never seen this coming where I'm perfectly happy with only the campaign...fer now 😏

With me it opposite - I completely ignored the story now and have fun with combat in MP :D

Oh Ill get there soon enough before doing the same thing there I did with me3 ;)

Patience are a virtue but Im intentionally avoiding mp until I get a 100% completion on hardcore setting...mp is a distraction because once I start, I wont stop again ^

And you should acknowledge that its not meant to be a good argument, its a personal point of view so unless someone is arguing that they know my mind better than I do, there literally is no argument...sorry to disappoint ye in case yer reading more into it ^

Tempted to get it but I'm waiting for the majority of issues to be patched up. Any word on when they will be fixing broken animations and redoing some of the faces? It's one thing for them to say they are going to fix things but money talks. I'll wait till they come through and actually do something.
