I can attest it is difficult - While no doubt practice is a huge part of it, I suspect there's a good lump of "nature" in there too (ie: natural talent). I suspect I have a low dose of that

And singing while playing guitar? It's like the ultimate head patting while tummy rubbing test there is

Guitar isn't that bad on the grand scale of things - try picking up the organ! Most folk can develop reasonable skill in guitar with practice, but it does require dedication to said practice. And no-one gits gud without practice.

To sing while playing usually means you've developed a basic consciousness of rhythm...you know where your vocal notes go in relation to what you're playing. Make sure you play to a metronome once in a while and if you're going for gold learn to read sheet music.

TL;DR if ya wanna do it...ya can. With work.

Seen that few days ago, YT suggested. Watched it, got enchanted by the vocals. Now I see the singer is 12 yo. Thought it was at least early 20s, judging by the performance. Very well done, nice lyrics, great music and - above all - oustanding singing.
