Megabucks

but now the more important question... did you gain skill?

can have all the credits in the universe, without the skills that suit it, what is it worth?

This is not a glitch. The first screen shot on the OP for 180m can be done in roughly 12-13hrs. I use a Corvette in Haz and average about 15m/hr. Here is a screen shot after 4hrs in Haz res. I dont like to wait 10-20hrs before cashing in, because of the risk of losing so many credits. Maybe OP did it for the sake of being able to produce those screen shots, but its risky.

The way it works is 100% PP faction bonus + a Kill warrant scanner (which also gets the same bonus). What it turns out to be is roughly x4 the payout you see when you kill a ship in Rez. So if you kill a Conda for 250k, youve actually made more like 1 million. This adds up really quick, as even small targets are paying you 300-400k. So if you use a ship that can kill fast, like a Corvette or an FDL, you can watch the credits role in.

It's worth a lot of ships and modules.

All of which I would like to give the what-for and see what's what.

Therefore, hours and hours of practice time with different weapons, ships, and techniques.

Also lots of fun.

i know its possible, those numbers. if you stack the bountys over time, with the hudson or ALD rank 5.
runing the risk of losing it all could be fun.

have to agree that the game with a load of money is still fun.

All I know is I've been BHing in a HI-res all week and haven't made jack-schidte. But, not a Hudson system, not rank 5 (rank 2).

Also winged up, so killing quickly, but that doesn't help if the spawn can't keep up.

And you have to split the bounties with your mates. Would be nice to know but doubt it's a game-changer for how or where I hunt. Prove me wrong - please.

atm im not hudson either, i have been for 18 weeks at rating 5.
so i went to Pravnal space, the bountys there should be 50% higher. and the medium to big ships kept on coming.

Do you reset the instance by low waking, then returning?

Occasionally.

I had meant to imply that, yes.

Oh I'm Hudson, but my player faction's system that we are currently trying to get out of lockdown, hence my weeks worth of BHing, is an uncontrolled system. I don't have the attention span to maintain a rank 5. I've been rank five for two non-consecutive weeks. Starting from 0 merits each time. I do not want to do it a third time.

I mean, I paid for the game, I would like to be able to access all of the content I paid for*.

*Not up front. Not immediately. I don't mind working for it. But regardless of when, it takes Cr to do.

yeah getting the rank 5 is harder than keeping it.
but it becomes a chore after a while.

besides, with 200million you got access to 95% of the ships if you swap it around :p

Yeah, I know, but I was always so burned out after earning it I couldn't be bothered to keep it.

And yea, that's true, but IDK, IMO a big part of actually enjoying the ships is the ability to keep them and store them for when you need them. Stripping and selling a ship and buying a new one each time you want to do something else is a massive Cr. drain (10% loss), not to mention just a hugely annoying waste of time. I like not being tied down to one or two activities for a days worth of playing. I think it is important to the game to be able to go from bounty hunting to trading to exploring with out too much hassle.

Stumbled? Using one of these as an example, pick one, how much time did you put into it for the amount & what ship did you use? We can see you're using the KWS. Most I ever let stack up was 100 million but must of taken 6~8 hours of game play using conda @ HRES, also Rank 5 with Zac so double bounties & I was alone

if you assume it is a bug or exploit, file a ticket at support.frontier.com with the details, because those numbers may look gamebreaking, if you don't spend 10+ hours bountyhunting.

if not - please share :)

This is one of the reasons I really want module storage in the game. For example: the Anaconda is a great multi-roll ship. However, outfitting it for different roles is a huge hassle. Because if how expensive outfitting the Anaconda is I always buy parts for it in Li space. That's means if I want to change my Conda from, say, combat fitted to exploration, I have to fly all the way to Li space just to outfit it or I'll lose money. Same goes for when I outfit it for combat again. 15% is huge when you're equiping modles that costs between 50m-160m. If I could store my modules while changing loud outs the issue would be solved, but with selling then as the only option I have no choice but to a) travel 170Ly every time I want to reoutfit my ship, or b) take a substantial hit money wise and wonder why I even bothered to outfit it at 15% discount to begin with.

That's not true. Let's say without a KWS, an Anaconda's bounty shows as 200k. The KWS will push it up to about 260k. That can be doubled if you reach level 5 PP, so it increases to 520K of which 10% won't show in the bounty claims above because they have to be claimed in Empire/Alliance space, so the 520K goes down to 480k. That's 240% of the original bounty, not 400%.

For all you skeptics, those claims are genuine, and the above has reminded me that there's another 10% still waiting to be claimed.

As a few of you have asked, I'm not going to make it easy by spelling it out in detail, but I'll give some clues: First, you need level 5 PP and a KWS for the 240% increase. Without it, the 400 million payout would only have been 170 million, although that's still a lot of bounty money. The next thing you need to do is go to a HI RES and do everything you can to encourage the pirates to come. I'm sure that if you do a bit of research, you can find out what to do for that. Then one more thing: There's a clue in this picture that shows the pirates swarming in. That's six Clippers in front of me and there's another six big ships behind me, all waiting to die:

Welp, you already lost me. I was really hoping to learn about a way that didn't turn ED into my second job.

But hey, thanks for posting it up anyway for those who are interested. I just don't have the time, patience, or will for Rank 5 PP.
