Hello, everyone! Long time no see...
I've been playing PlanCo a lot lately, been making this park for a long while now, as a gift for my nephews who love Monkey Island™ games, and I love them too, so it was a win-win situation that I couldn't resist. Mêlée Island™ looked like the perfect place to fit a park in, with so many interesting places all around, and I think anyone who loves MI and PlanCo will love this, and if you never played the MI games, it's still a really cool tropical island themed park with lots of details that I hope you all enjoy.
It took me many, many hours and versions to get to the current state, and there's still a lot of things that could be added or improved, but you gotta call it a day at some point, so here it is.
The park uses the base game, the Aventure pack DLC, and the free Quickdraw Interactive Shooting Ride DLC. The recommended time of day to play it is 6:45 PM, I think that's when it looks the best and more like the original game, but it works on any other time of day. Pair it with some Monkey Island OST tunes for the rides and the ambience and it's definitely a blast.
My CPU is pretty old (10 years) so I had to keep the guests at a very low amount (300-600 guests) to stay around 20 fps. I've spent many hours optimizing the pieces count, graphics don't seem to be a bottleneck, I get maybe 4 fps more in Low than Ultra settings, so I think it should run smoothly on more recent processors.
