i shall treat that question with the contempt it deserves!.
(more seriously i dont actually know the volume of a US pint without googling (it is less than 500ml tho) but the uk one is 568ml

and a yard is (a tiny bit under) 2.5 pints (and comes in the most interesting beer glass shape i have ever seen)

Which is the correct pint btw: US or UK? Is that why they threw the tea into Boston harbour?
