COMPLETED CG Mine Resources for Torval Mining Ltd (Mining)

Would be interesting to know how many not mined tritium was sold this week ;-)
In the high-value trade CGs, estimates of about a quarter of the tonnage not being delivered to the CG itself have seemed fairly consistent with the available data. That would be about 15 million tonnes, and there's no obvious reason why the base CG being a mining CG instead should change that massively.

15 MT * 150k/T profit would be about 2 trillion credits profit, so if it was something of that scale it should be possible to detect by comparing the trade squadron leaderboards to the long-term trends when the season ends on 6 December. (Obviously not everyone is in a squadron, but still, it should be enough to tell the difference between 15 MT, 1.5 MT and 150 MT)

Class 3,4 and 6 pre-engineered FSD by any chance?

Steve
Only the 3 and 4, I have 4 of each, so I have one 6 actually spare. But I have a loooot of ships that would like the 3 and 4. But what I really want are the triple engineered medium multicannons, I have a totally overkill Viper III build on the grade 6 OC powerplant that could use them.

Of course, Pythons are THE miner
First trip I did for this CG was in my mining Python. Of course - I came across a Core and couldn't KaBoom it as only 5 Hardpoints all lasers.

Quickly went back and got my Mining Conda - 4x2D lasers, 2x1D Xtra Long range lasers and of course Abrasion Blaster and Seismic Charge Launcher to make it go KaBoom!!!
Lots of loverly Serendipite and others along the way.
And could fill 256T + up to 10T Refinery in about 1 hour getting Painite/Pras/Plat/Os in Painite HS.
Though the cores do slow you down of course, unless you are expert at cleaning up after KaBoom.

They're here

1.55 bill. Not bad for two evenings poodling about. Back to the Spires I guess.
Whoa whoa. So in two evenings you collected ~7000 tonnes of ore? What sorcery did you conjure to pull that off? I managed 1000 tonnes in 3-4 days over the whole event in a 196 T capacity mk II krait mining in a tritium hotspot with common reserves, and I was displacement + abrasion + surface mining with full concentration, no poodling. Four collectors and A grade prospectors. Even if I refit my Anaconda I could maybe harvest and collect 50% faster but relocation would probably bring that efficiency back down to 20% with the size and agility.

I went to a pristine and wasn't that impressed by the rock yields and went back to a common hotspot. There's something that I must be seriously missing in the way I mined.

He's most likely talking about a combination of buying Tritium and mining the rest. For the CG, I mined a little less than 1000t and traded enough Tritium to make almost 12.5 bil between my main and alt.

That's incredible, 12.5 billion Cr! The mining definitely felt rewarding for me but I had never considered trade at the time. Call it preconceived notions or myopic. Makes complete sense though, you know. You could get an extra 1-2 mil getting to a higher contributor bracket... or you could make quite literally 1000 times more just selling straight to the event's commodity market without adding to the event contributions counter.

To be fair, it's my first week playing in 4 years, but in that week I've had notion after notion of what's profitable just completely blown out of the water .
