Mineing nerf

I try not to look stuff up on 3rd party websites unless I'm really stuck. I treat ED like a rpg, so when I play I assume no one (in their right mind) is going to tell the entire galaxy where the triple LTD hotspot they just found is! If they did that IRL their rare and unique hotspot would be heaving with miners and pirates in no time! So I try to keep it as realistic as possible, which adds to the fun imo.
Fair enough. If the game actually had a believable simulation of the economy and mining strikes were actually rare and limited you might even see people behave in a believable manner. :p

Looks like FD are thinking about making the mining economy a little more believable, but the outrage threads are popping up left, right and centre! 😆

And the triple overlapping LTD hotspots and overlapping painite hotspots are pretty rare, I have been all over the black looking for them for months, but only found 1 overlapping VO hotspot and 1 overlapping LTD hotspot so far. Both within a few hours of each other!

Yay. The forum dads and the care bears have won again. Honestly, they complain about anything that makes this game approachable and then whine about player numbers going down, why no one play in Open and how this game is in maintenance mode because it isn't generating revenue.
Carebears whine about why no-one plays in Open? I must have missed that.

Repetitive post. There is no nerf. There will be no nerf. It's a fix. Price of the minerals will remain exactly the same. But instead of the price of Vopals(for example) being linear (1.6mil until demand reaches 0), it will start to decrease towards 0 demand. It's explicit on the update notes. Don't jump the gun and read the update notes carefully.

Let's be real for a moment. First of all, it's still not certain whether mining's gonna get nerfed. AFAIK, that's just a proposal at this point. And even if it is, who needs to make 100 million credits+ per hour? What the heck are they doing with all those credits? 🤔
Buying ships, upgrading them. Engineering them. Adding guardian tech to it.

But an Influencer, you know, a guy that has a YouTube channel thinks there will be a nerf and since he is an Influencer then it must be true.

Yes written with included sarcasm.

You're meant to write "An Open Letter to the Players" with this is in it, then they'll listen apparently

Unless they actually put this into the live update...
I've no idea how it will work out.
As for the Beta, I think they were more interested in other things being tested. 🤷‍♀️

Include it in the update, and if enough people complain they'll tweak the numbers. The end.

They cared enough for a focused feedback dedicated to this change.

Funny how there's only 20-odd posts there, but ALL THE POSTS in the more visible forum areas.

Ah, missed that! (y)
