[INDEPENDENT] Misfits of Science - rogue scientist unite

seriously need to have a word with my building security, they don't seem to know i am the boss. having to work harder than most people to get ally status, what is that all about?

Make sure you are doing missions with reputation +++. The more pluses the faster you rep up with your faction.

Also your minor faction on Inara isn’t listed as a player faction. I think you need to link it with your inara wing or something. I’m not sure how this part works I’m afraid.

Hey gals and guys, Jenny here - MSR is now in a state of ELECTION!!! That means if we take election courier missions, we can take control of the system! First the system, then the GALAXY!!

BGS has never been so much fun :D

note - there are also election combat missions, but I'm not sure they are worth doing as they'll cause you to become wanted in neighboring systems, which then makes it harder to do the deliver missions.

You’ll only take the system if the election is with the controlling faction. Otherwise you’re competing against another faction, in which case you will take their station or ground facility.

Ahhh.. I have no idea who we're in election with - is there a way to tell? In any event, taking a station would be nice, as all trade and other interactions with a station benefit the controlling faction, yes?

You can find out in the news in the starport services. The news in the middle panel, not galnet. The top one, gives the influence and current/pending states. You’ll see. Yes whoever controls the station benefits from trade etc.

Oh I think this one is better, http://elite-dangerous.wikia.com/wiki/Background_Simulation

That explains why I haven't received any cake yet. :(

investigation's are ongoing as we believe its an inside job, rest assured your complimentary chocolate cake with be delievered as soon as possible. we at MSR apologise and hope this did not tarnish an over wise productive visit to our new institute headquarters

Friendly request. Could any allies currently raising MSR influence in our system please cease actions. It's going up to fast and we need to balance things to start the conflict. Thanks

P.S. just for 24 hours, as we are not sure who or what is pushing influence so much

Guys if your influence goes over 60% it will trigger the conflict autonatically. It was triggered against us by trolls in the Celtauri system. So we are pushing our influence back up pre war. But for you guys it’s a good thing, you’ll start the war ahead of your enemy.
