Mission Target spawn times: absolutely absurd, yet very easy to fix.

So, it seems the general consensus is that mission objectives take way too long to spawn. After my experience today, I'm adding my two cents to the pile. I've bounced my head off the desk in boredom many times before, but I've been waiting an hour now (as of starting to write this post) for a thargoid mission objective to spawn. All the past waits plus today have caught up with me, and I have had it.

This needs to end.

My idea is this: hard cap the time it takes for a mission objective / target ship / etc to spawn at one minute or less once you get within 5 LS of the target body, NO EXCEPTIONS. One minute sounds short, but when all you are doing is staring at the screen waiting, one minute is about the point when you start to get bored; two minutes is the barrier when impatience starts to set in (never let a player reach that point).

My objective here is not just to avoid "wasting players time" (we will hold you to that until the end of days), but to keep players occupied. Logically, there are two ways to go about this. Either 1) you give players something to do when there is nothing, or 2) you decrease the players time spent doing nothing (effectively the same, but there are implications in the wording). This hard time reduction targets option 2 in the easiest, most direct way possible.

For the the sake of both the game and it's players, something needs to be done. This seems like a quick, easy way of curtailing the issue.

This cannot possibly have gone any better. The EXACT moment I pressed submit, I heard "Mission Objective Detected" in the background, almost two hours after arriving in the area. Seriously. This needs fixing, even the game has something to say about it. XD
