Missions - substantially increase their numbers (mode switch exploit)

Instead of Relogging, there could be a "Reload" button to get a different mission list.

Yeah. People get up in arms about 'cheating' when they don't realize you fly all the out there in a ship that can only dock at one of the stations and then there's nothing there. Okay, so 30 minutes of time wasted. Then you spend 2 hours flipping back and forth through log-outs usually to get the same nothing for missions. I actually got into a debate with myself about this. You can make as much money in an evening flying a Python delivering slaves as you can doing these long distance runs. Yet people get upset about it the log-in log-out. Then you'll spend another two or three hours delivering everything. At this point it has been 5 hours and the night is over with for what you can game. Eh, I'd leave it alone.

Bad for your "Immersion"

It is bad for your immersion I agree, there is a bigger picture though that includes padding/repetition/grind that is bad for gameplay too I don't think that should be ignored either.

If plodders want to plod let them plod but don't force it those that want a fast track skills-based progression. Making something long and arduous doesn't make it difficult it makes it a challenge to some but a frustration for others.

Well I do not like myself for doing the switching...

I usually do this: land, check the MB, not see what i want. Relog in solo, check MB, not see what i want, but something else interesting pops up - i take the mission. Relog back to open, check the MB, nothing. So I just do the mission that has cought my eye before.

Simply - I try not to "overuse" this exploit as it would trully mess with my immersion ;-)

Hope You can forgive me commanders...

An interesting idea would be to let players pay to refresh their mission list immediately for a small bribe/service fee to the mission services at the station, they would find you another set of missions. This could go up the more you use it in a particular time frame potentially. This would allow users to farm for missions quickly, but would discourage over-use. Even with mode switching as an option, if I could pay somewhere between 1000 and 100,000 credits to refresh the mission board, I'd be more likely to do that than mode switch.
