This is an open question to everyone...
I noticed the use of the word Necro in some comments. Never seen it before, but, essentially, from what I can gather, is that it is not a good thing to post relevant info into the same thread, if it has been "dead" for some time.
So, for those of you who feel that this thread should've been locked etc... should the search function for topics be removed... I mean... lets say that I search for something, I find a thread related to what I searched for... should I not ask the relevant question in that thread (yes, it is revived), or, add information, into said thread? Is it better to start a new thread on the subject?
I am a bit confused about this, because, as a professional 3D artist (nowdays a supervisor), I am used to ask questions in threads related to what I need to ask about software x, y or z, no matter how old the threads are.
The reason for that is quite simple; use the search function and don't start new threads unless your topic is unique.
I'm still trying to figure this forum out... this is the first games forum I have engaged in; usually I stick to professional forums related to my craft. Hence I am a bit confused.
