They asked him about ships that haven’t been announced. We already know the Krait didn't make the initial list but he was talking about as yet unannounced ships. There's no reason why they would stop at 30 and no reason why they would not add additional ships by popular demand.

I want to see the Alliance come up with a ship for those players that decide to turn their back on the big two or maybe an independent craft, even if it is a stolen design with modifications so that they have a version of a fighter for easy to identify friendly craft as well as a specific trader so that they may not be scanned as often in alliance space as they are going to be trusted since they are flying an Alliance trader.

Well we still need 10 or 11 of those 30 ships (depending on whether the Diamondback counts as 2 or just 1). Of those we know there will be the Federation Corvette, Panther, Dolphin and Beluga so I assume the unannounced ships will be the other 6 or 7 vessels we haven't seen yet and we know that the Krait won't be one of them.

p.s. They may add ships later or they may not. At the rate they're going it'll be another twelve months before we get the full 30 anyway.

Would be nice to see the Krait, Viper (original), and the Constrictor make a comeback.
Heck, while I'm at it, make that every classic Elite ship that hasn't been included yet!

What would be neat is to see intra-system bulk carriers, inter-planetary shuttles and Surface-to-station space planes.
All NPCs but adding to the traffic between stations and between planets and stations

Love a ships thread. Tried to start one the other day suggesting the game needs more ships.

Hopefully the Cutter and Imperial fighter will be introduced. The Cipper and Courier are both great. The more ships the better but an Alliance ship would be cool. In an ideal World each major faction should have a 5/6 ships requiring rank to obtain I reckon. Each filling a specific role.

Mamba was quite lightly armed and probably small too though. I would like to see both, with the Mamba (as a defacto racing ship) being the fastest ship in the game.

I would like to see something new and a bit different from ZPG, and more Gutamaya of course.
