More ships!!

Not for a very long time will we see any major content-- they are going to be very busy for months doing the Xbox version.

I wouldn't expect to see 1.4 until the end of the year now, and that'll probably onlu update it to the Xbox version (sigh).

The thing about this is that the Xbox version is far more complicated to update than the PC version. Frontier has direct control over the PC version updates, whereas updates have to go through Microsoft Update software first for Xbox. It means that future updates after Xbox release and CQC will likely come to PC first before Xbox, simply due to the ease of updating on PC. The counter to that is that we have to deal with the bugs and issues first, whereas Xbox will likely get the cleaned up copy after we sort out the problems (Because lets face it, even with betas, there are still problems upon release - See powerplay).

You can go back over old information about which ships were already verified to be added to the game in later content. And in the E3 conference, Barben stated that there are plans for other ships besides those as well, that were not mentioned previously. Get your credits now Commanders, build up your bank! Become a ship collector! Gotta catch em all.

I want to see the Alliance come up with a ship for those players that decide to turn their back on the big two or maybe an independent craft, even if it is a stolen design with modifications so that they have a version of a fighter for easy to identify friendly craft as well as a specific trader so that they may not be scanned as often in alliance space as they are going to be trusted since they are flying an Alliance trader.

The Alliance has the Turner-class from FFE, but only time will tell when that'll be added.

Gecko? maybe a ship too big to dock an needs a shuttle to cary cargo to a station. Plus maybe small NPC fighters strapped to the side. Much smaller than a capital ship but bigger than anything we currently have.

if I have to pay for one single thing in this game with real money, I'm done. I paid full price for a poor excuse of a release. it shouldn't be out of beta yet.

More ships means more variety, more variety means more happy players, more happy players means less whining, hopefully.
