It was other than Thargoids so I think it implied intelligence. But not so clear.

Indeed, likely intelligent meant going by the Thargoid mention, but, might not be.

The only thing I can add is this.

Unless things have changed since the KS (which is possible) Michael asked me to confirm something regarding Shinrarta Dezhra (às I named it) The blurb that originally went with the system was:

"As is common throughout the known galaxy, it is rare for an indigenous species to name their system beyond the descriptive. The Founders, however, were different .."

(since then it's been removed, sadly, and replaced with some nonsense about Elite Pilots)

Now, at the time Michael reminded me that there were no other intelligent lifeforms in ED (other than Thargoids) and wanted to be sure that's not what I meant.

The moment I see a Thargoid ship launch Thargons I'm going to cry from a mixture of nostalgia and old-fashioned terror.

I think I need to watch it myself as "alien lifeforms" doesn't necessarily mean intelligent (like Thargoids) - I would welcome it mind as a battle on 2 fronts is better than 1

I've been racking my brains and checking through the forum search but to no avail. Didn't Michael Brookes in a reply to a post a while ago indicate that there was intelligent life other than the Thargoids? I could be wrong of course, memory is slightly deranged these days.
