Multiple trains in Alpha 3

realism would not include floating islands and 1000+ mile high coasters, realism takes away from the fun factor, im not saying i require death/killing for fun, in fact i think guests should refuse to ride an unfinished coaster, but i also think we have "crash test dummies" for a reason [wink] what happens when a coasters breaks fail, is it realistic to have uninjured guests or undamaged trains? that sounds immature imo... and the bargain bin comment? really? i know you enjoy the videos on youtube of death parks [haha]

I'm hopeful for all, but train run on unfinished track. I couldn't care less, if people want it I will not oppose, however I feel it takes away from the realism and this game seems its on track for a mature realistic game, I doubt it will be included. The others though 100% yes I want them, they have to be there.

+ indeed im all for realism. (But as long as im not forced to unrealistic stuff im fine if it's in the game for people who do want to do weird stuff [wink] )

And im pretty sure the other functions will come for sure. Boomerangs and similar coasters are way to common to be overlooked.

I don't really enjoy them, I only pointed a couple out to make a point that it really does not belong in the game. Break downs are fine, but to allow deliberate death ride design, nope. Roller coaster accidents are usually few and far between. Sure there is a break down every so often, but total derailments very seldom happen.

Read this article: [h=1]Should You Feel Safe on a Roller Coaster? https://www.yahoo.com/style/roller-coaster-safety-coney-island-115088399182.html[/h]

inspiring people to make creative videos doesnt belong in this game?? Ohhhhhhh I see... [rolleyes]

like i said in another thread, its no different than an explosion in your favorite movie, even disney movies have some violence... crashing coasters is a big part of the game for a reason, but i agree that killing/deaths dont have to be

Edit: LoL at using yahoo as a source [down]

I believe with the trains it might be like in RCT 3 where the block brakes would give you one extra spot for trains each section. But I just really hope they don't make it so the coaster stops right on top of the lift hill because "Oh! This train hasn't hit this block brake, GUYS WE ARE STUCK UNTIL THIS BLOCK BRAKE HAS CONTACT WITH THIS TRAIN!"

That article was written by Greg Keraghosian Associate Travel Editor I am sure he did research on it before making it public. At least it isn't like those trashy news stand papers such as "The National Enquirer" that make up a lot of their stories.

its not like playing RCT or watching videos of deaths parks made me think "oh no I better not go to amusement parks anymore" [haha] then again if PC has VR i might start thinking that [uhh] can you imagine riding a coaster in VR and having it go up a launch and derail over your park?? your telling me you wouldnt want to try that at least just one time??? ITS JUST A GAME MAN! [alien]

My whole point is that there are people out there (hopefully not that many, but it is sadly true that they do exist) that only play these games just to show how many ways they could kill people with amusement park rides and as a responsible game developer Frontier should not fuel that.

yea well, that conversation could last us a few weeks if you really wanted to get into the reality of TV, video game, music, news, etc and how its full of disturbing graphic content that is not good for specific individuals. Its called Media & Society 101. Thats the world we live in, do you think we should all live in a bubble? were not aiming guns here

i already said, multiple times, i am against killing, but we have CRASH TEST DUMMIES for a reason [yesnod]

The violence on TV or in the movies do not have the viewers actively planning it, so that is not actually relevant to the point I'm trying to get across here.

go talk to rockstar game developers, they have kids using drugs and taking photos of people having sex, let alone planning bank robberies... planet coaster is no where near that... i did not say just TV and movies you have selective reading

I don't spend most of my life as a gamer, I have other interests too, plus some real life responsibilities that have to take top priority.

*subtle act to try get this thread ontopic again*

So you both agree we should be able to have multiple trains in alpha 3? [tongue]

I do especially with a big plus of being able to stack single cars in the station for wild mice style rides or the classic ride through haunted house.

Yes!!

Altough i prefer omnimovers for the hounted house (They were pretty much confirmed as well)
And indeed, we need the single car option as well, just like spinning cars.
