My ship disappeared

I’m out at Farseer inc in my SRV. My ship just disappears, out of sight and radar. Lookup and found out I can dock at the station. Probably is, station keeps denying me access. I’m not wanted, just joined Federation for some extra credits for awhile. Some help is needed.

You'll have to go to an interstellar factor that you'll find at the station under contacts in any low security system. He'll clear your bounty.

The normal procedure is to drive away from the base until you can see "recall ship" on your role panel. Your ship won't land if you're too close to the base. When your ship lands get in, take of, and then you can land at the base, but only if it's a landable one where you can get docking permission. Don't atempt to land on it without permission.

If you get a bounty at a base, be very careful about any patrolling ships. they'll probably start attacking as soon as it lands, when you're not in a position to fight back. if there are patrolling ships, either drive a long way away or logout and back in again to make them disappear. Remember, it's no problem to get blown up in the SRV. You'll be put back in your ship ready to leave without losing anything other than any cargo that's in the SRV.

In case you don't know, also, if you park your ship on a planet, then drive too far from it, it'll take off by itself and go into orbit waiting for you to recall it from the role panel. If you come under fire in the SRV, it's better to dismiss your ship rather than try to get in it.

I appreciated the info. My first time in SRV. Though I admit watched videos before hand, none mentioned the ship takes off by itself when I’m too far away. I don’t understand how I ended up with a bounty from Archon Delaine. Farseer inc is nowhere near his systems. Also received 250cr fine from Farseer when I loaded back into horizons from dangerous. I’m back in my ship with my resources, so that’s better than before.

If you're on PC, you can check the logs on your system to see what happened. You can read them - it's plain JSON/XML - but it's easier if you install something like EDDiscovery.

Oh yes it does that. It gave me a fright when it first happened. :)
You made me wonder what happens when a fighter gets too far from your ship. It dies of course. :)
But it was fun Cannon Racing in a fighter. (That is something you might like to do when you have lots of cash for rebuys. Find a moon like HIP 35755 6 C with lots of canyons and fly as fast as you can as low as you dare. It can be an expensive hobby. ;)
